There is nothing I love more than freshly washed bed sheets than have been line-dried. Makes me go to sleep in no time :j

    Oh but there is.

I despised ironing, it took forever and never looked half done anyway! I had even considered taking the lot to an ironing service :o Then I got one of these babies... Wow! My daughters pretty little dresses with frills and bows and other such things that are a real PITA to fix took no time at all :D I went through the whole pile in no time.

In fact, I even took stuff out of the drawers to re-iron the first night I got it :A:rotfl:

Also how do you tag a link like the one one above i can't work out how it is done:o

It's so weird. Until I read your post, I never even SAW the orange and pink speech bubbles. Yes, those bright psychedelic ones that appear after every posting. Doh!

I'd been doing it by manually typing the HTML.

    neither had i :p:o

Copy the link you want then come back to MSE.

Write whatever you want to post, then highlight it and click on the link that looks like a little world with a chain around it. A box will pop up, you paste your link in there and it'll automatically link it up for you :)

  • I do. I wear black VPL pants which cover a multitude of sins. No shame in hanging up one's undies!
( I do like to use the Garden washing lines to get laundry to dry but moi mainly uses her Lakeland 3 Tier Heated Airer thingy).

For those wondering where you dry them if not on the line! I hang mine on the radiators around the house, unless there are guests coming over, then I make sure they are upstairs drying ;)

Mine go on the line - whirlygig, outside line if that's how they peg out and I don't give a toss who sees them.

My neighbour on the other hand, pegs hers out with one peg, i.e. hanging from the gusset, so if you were inclined to have a good eyeball at them, you'd only get an "overall" idea of colour and not much else.

Mine go out pegged either side at the hip seam, so little is left to the imagine in terms of colour, fabric and....size:rotfl:

This is mine. I didn't pay that much though. I've had steam generators for years. I wouldn't be without one. And a sturdy ironing board is a must. I've ironed at my work with a short wobbly board and a normal iron and it's such a chore!

    iron

Ooh! I couldn't do the linky thing either. Thanks! :j
