Do you hang your undies on the line?

I've been known to hang my undies on the line.......whilst wearing undies :eek: Not much different to being out there in a bikini

I have an underwear hanger that I hang on the whirley gig. Saying that, I can get 5 pairs of daughters thongs on one of the pegs on it Thank goodness they are so small as mine take up one peg each :eek: I do remember a time I was horrified hanging out my mothers underwear though (when I was 16) - oh how times have changed :rotfl:

I don't have a line in the garden. I put a few items out on a small clothes horse, on the patio out of sight. The lady next door has no qualms about putting her greying parachutes out on the line...but I suppose she thinks that no one is going to be bothered about them. I'm not but I wonder whether teenage DS has a giggle.

Well, inspired by this thread I proudly pegged out all my undies on the line today. (They were still a little hidden, except for one pair which wouldn't fit on that part of the line, but it's the attitude which counts I say!)

Previous owner of this house rigged up a washing line with sail pulleys and when a towel disappeared at altitude I decided to dry ours inside over radiator airers in case our underwear went missing too. I do put airers out if scorching hot and bot windy.

I do alot of the washing and hanging up to dry, when I started, I realised alot of the line was being taken up by the thongs from my OH, with lets face it, not much drying being done, for the amount of space taken up.
I'd hung them all up perfectly, which is great for most washing, but not how thongs are supposed to be hung out apparently. Especially as the next door bloke is a bit of a "watcher".

So now I hang them by one of their sides and the space for other things is much improved.

I have to admit though, it doesn't look so spectacular and the bloke next door doesn't try to talk to me so much about my OH's underwear.

They still go out on the line though, too right, most of them are dry in five minutes anyway :rotfl:

I have no shame in hanging my undies out on the line if its a nice day and in winters i dry them on radiators .
