I live with my OH and my inlaws , and our garden is not overlooked by any of the neighbours.... so its a mystery why my MIL gets all worked up about smalls on the washing line. ( very common I suspect)
Needless to say I hang my very lacy smalls on the outside line. Oh, the small things in life!0 -

She's probably more worried about her OH getting over excited by the sight of his DIL's very lacy smallsPlease forgive me if my comments seem abrupt or my questions have obvious answers, I have a mental health condition which affects my ability to see things as others might.0 -

Jackie, it is so nice to hear other laundry tips, i too love anything laundry but i am still a bit of a novice, what other tips do you care to share?:rotfl:
Well, don't hang your jeans up by one peg.
Saying that, the last time I went into Matalans, all the girls jeans were hanging on new hangers that only had one peg. Reminded me of our old neighbours washing line. :eek:0 -

My neighbour used to peg all her baby's clothes out, with the co-ordinating socks pegged to the bottom of the trousers, the hat pegged to the cuff of the jumper etc. I could never quite decide if that was OTT or a good idea to not lose an item out of the set!
Heaven knows what would happen if the baby removed a sock when they were out and discarded it somewhere :rotfl:0 -

On the first post you want to quote, click on the pink and orange speech bubbles. On the last page you want to quote, click on quote. All the quotes should appear on your post.0
