  • Dodgy hug for you Morocha:grouphug: I hope things look up for you and the decision you make is the right one for you and your bump.

6 days to go here until due date. Plenty of tightenings and a little uncomfortable moments, but nothing more than that. Spent much of the weekend putting up new wardrobes in DD new room (well I supervised some highly technical bits :rotfl:)

Both are up and 1 has doors on, just the other doors to do and then the insides. Can't wait to put all the random stuff round the house in there to get sorted. Hopefully I'll get it done before baby arrives so it feels much more sorted :)

Hope things are moving for you littlemoog will keep an eye :D

morocha, if he doesn't see you as "the one", then it might be best to move on. I am not sure how you will manage living together, though. I think you deserve someone who appreciates you as a woman, as a mother and as a friend. If he cannot be that person, you will find the right one for you. I did not find the right one until I was almost 30 and had a few heartbreaks, but I cannot tell you how happy I am now. About 7 years ago I was in a relationship that was going nowhere and where I felt like a doormat. The best decision I ever made was to leave him and put myself in a "single and available" position, and a few months afterwards I found my other half. It is very hard to make the decision, specially if you are living together and have shared financial responsibilities or commitments, but think about your whole life, the whole path ahead, would you want to be living like you are now for the rest of your life? What about the next 10 years? 5 years? Would you like your children to live in that environment? If your answer is "no", then the sooner you move on, the better for everyone. He might change after the birth, as someone said, but he would need to show you that you are the love of his life. He will be your child's father nevertheless and that will change him, whether he wants it or not, but to save a relationship I think he needs to commit to you as a friend, lover and partner, not just as provider and father, which he can do anyway without being in a relationship. My view, anyway, as I said the move for me was very scary and it left me without self-esteem and feeling rubbish, but after the rough patch I finally found what I was looking for, there is always light ahead, there is always healing to suffering, there are billions of people in the world, don't settle for someone who hurts you in any way, because you might be missing the chance to meeting the right one for you.

My PM box is open if you want to talk or just have a rant, in Spanish if you want!! You have many exciting times ahead of you with your baby and your studies. *hugs*

Thank you Marta and everyone for the support.

HE suffers from depression badly and he is off his medication, i do care about him although i am very hurt by him too.
After a few days that he has space and time he comes back to me, sometimes even crying that he does not know why he does this and he really loves me. I have taken him back everytime, but this time somehow it feels different, i feel i need to let go, i am self sufficient and strong and deserve more than this, he needs to show me respect.
He needs to grow up and know what he wants.
He has nowhere to go, his parents do not want him at home, somehow they think we are fine together and should sort it out. He works there most of the time of the day, he is a workaholic, many times i feel like a single parent and if he is to leave, it wouldnt change much in my life anyway apart from financially.

You can always leave but also keep "the door open" for a while to see if he recovers and sees you again in the way he should, but he needs to show he wants to change, and that starts by taking his medication. I think you should think of the well-being of both of you and your baby. It is not making you happy, it won't make your baby happy either if you are sad and crying even when he is not there.

Aida a stupid question coming up.. how would one know if all the mucus plug is out and you said you are losing it yet it isn't like the blobby thing? hmm weird..i will have to just wait and see.

I usually get colds and stuff too but during this preg, have had 2 lots of sore throats and they havent been major. touchwood. dont want to jinx myself. ohh man i cant stop feeling hungry today.. meh.

Rups and savage I had two blobs of a very thick mucus and it was cream/yellowish. It was different than my normal vagina discharge as it looked like a nasal mucus...It was the size of a 20p coin both times :eek::eek:.
I know it can regrow, so as long as I don't lose lots (hmm...not sure what means lots as I have no idea how much is too much :D) I should be OK.

I'll see my GP tomorrow and meantime I'll keep an eye on my knickers :rotfl:

    Morning everyone :D

First: Happy due date Savage and Missbubury. I hope you both have your babies soon :j:j:j.

LM Hope you are in hospital and you gave birth last night :D. If not, today might be the big day, so finger crossed.

    Morocha: Big hugs from me.

Rups and Bamama I had my blood taken last time when I saw my MW (34 weeks appointment) plus a swab from my nose and neck. She also checked my weight.

I wish you a nice week and lots of labor vibes for all the boldies!!!!

    Eek, I'm a boldie!

A swab? What were they looking for from the swab? I've not had one of those (did have blood taken though - but only at the appointment after yours as I'd not been on the iron tablets long at my 35 week appt)
  • Morning ladies!

Happy due date savage and missbunbury :D

Woohoo for finishing work Rups, does it feel weird?

Sorry to hear about your OH Morocha, It must be incredibly difficult to decide what to do with the best, like you've said there is only so many times you can put up with being treated that way, hugs!

Off to antenatal class shortly, then need to buy some food, our cupboards are totally bare!

Savage the swabs sound like they are for MRSA.
