anything else anyone can suggest please?
On the breast pump front if you're only going for one or two feeds very occasionally I'd say it doesn't matter which pump, but if you're hoping to share feeds with hubby regularly I'd go for the medela swing judging by the reviews. I've got one waiting for me (trying to decide if I need to sterilise all the goodies in advance or not...). Equally if you 'can't' breastfeed and end up expressing exclusively and bottle feeding it to baby you'll be using your pump an awful lot so I'd make sure you get one that works well!0 -
thanks savage. i dont know why i thought if i cant bf the baby i wont have any milk lol.. anyone got the advent one though? will look for reviews but have heard everyone say the medela is the best one. let me check mothercare.:)
yesterday i felt like i had done some tummy exercises as the top of my belly hurt like i have been gyming. been lucky i guess in terms of bubba kicking or hurting my ribs like some mums to be have said. with me it has been that side pain and i can see bubs likes that side as my belly always looks lop-sided to the right lol.Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

You need to get yourself checked out at your maternity unit especially if you are breech and are under the 37 week cut off.
I've contacted my maternity unit and they said that I should not get worried as normal to start losing the plug. If I see a big blob of mucus then I'll have to go and see them....still breastfeeding but with bits of formula too, love being a mum its the best thing I ever did and my heart swells everytime I look at him and I'm much better I can stand up and walk for short periods now
Ikkle it sounds like you are a happy mummy. Glad that you can stand up and walk. Hope you will get better and better.
Rups I just have to keep an eyeon it and if I lose all my plug I should go to hospital. Hope that's not the case. Still have 1 week and a half till full term.
Savage it was confirmed again yesterday that my baby is breech. Good advice about the acupuncture. I can search and see if they are any around my area. I have 2 days off this week and I can go then. Meantime I do my daily activities suggested on spinningbabies website.:smileyheaBaby Aida is here :j:j:jBaby fund - £3140/£60000 -

Aida a stupid question coming up.. how would one know if all the mucus plug is out and you said you are losing it yet it isn't like the blobby thing? hmm weird..i will have to just wait and see.
I usually get colds and stuff too but during this preg, have had 2 lots of sore throats and they havent been major. touchwood. dont want to jinx myself. ohh man i cant stop feeling hungry today.. meh.Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

If you are going to get the medela swing the cheapest bestest price I've seen is £80 new, I got mine for that at the baby show and there was one (once!) at that price on amazon too. 'RRP' is £129 but you should be able to get one for £99 new with a bit of shopping around. Second hand ebay ones are still pretty pricey too.0 -
electric ones better then?Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!
