Our buggy and car seat are here!! woo hoo! finally after so much waiting around. i was so angry at citylink but they finally delivered! yay! dh can assemble that too.

Morning all

After moaning on here on Weds night my baby was finally born at 350 am on thursday - 2nd sweep must have worked, arrived at hospital at 245 fully dilated, waters broke as soon as I got to the labour room and he was born shortly afterwards. Cord was stuck round neck so scary for a while but other than being a bit blue he seems fine if sleepy.
Big girls are besotted with him - name is Alexander.

Congratulations Dribblekitten and what a beautiful name you have chosen for your little boy.

Nice to see some Twilight fans on here, I am going to watch next week with one of my sisters, hope my hips are not playing up too much so that I can sit still for the film duration.LittleMoog you are brave going to the cinema when overdue, wonder if you'd get a free cinema pass if your waters went whilst watching the film. At our antenatal class on Monday some of the ladies were talking about good places for your waters to break so that you can get freebies, ha!

Ah Rups how exciting that your pram has come. I love having a play around with mine, it's tres exciting and scary when you've got it up and you think 'oh my that little baby in my belly will go in here soon' very weird!

Going to have a mooch into town this afternoon and attempt to collect these free Emma's Diary packs that I've signed myself up for.

I think you have just put me in the teens!! Oh my!!!

After yesterday worries, baby started to move more in the evening, and today she is more like her normal self. Thank you very much for the support!!!

I was given lots of sleepsuits and vests yesterday by a friend of a friend, I won't exaggerate if I say that there must be like 20 sleepsuits plus vests and other clothes. Three bags full!! I think I will buy a box of baby wipes and give it to her when I go and collect the next time, she said she will have more stuff to give me in a months time.

She had the tippitoes bath too, but I had already bought mine. I love it, I will have to try it but I really recommend it, it is small and has a reclined seat, so the baby cannot sleep and you have free hands to wash her/him. Depending of the size of your baby, it will last between 4-7 months, but then you can move them to the big bath with a standalone reclined seat.

yay twilight fans here!! another girl from my nct is a fan too and she was saying she is going today with her friends as her husband hates it. dh said he would take me on saturday. awwh bless him..

yes cant wait for him to assemble it so can play about. today bubbs is busy so its nice. its because i am sat at home relaxed. lol. went out to the cafe near my house for lunch and the owner in there is nice but she chats too much. he was trying to convince me to have a baby shower at her cafe and she was putting too much pressure. i was so uncomfy. a friend at work has organised one though but at my place.

am tired, have some stuff to do work wise but in a call now and already falling asleep lol

i am going to ask a really dumb question..

do you sometimes feel that your pants are just wet? i wear panty liners but still around that! i got a bit freaked and was wondering whether when waters break, is this how it will be or how? sorry so dumb.. i guess the nct class info got me last night.
