I've been for a nice swim and jacuzzi today, and an now waiting for DH to get home then he is off for the weekend :j.

Plug and waters can go in any order, I think.

Waters don't necessarily start off contractions, and some people's waters never break (baby is born in the waters). Most hospitals won't let you go too long (usually 24-48 hours) after our waters go because of risk of infection so they like to induce you.

Glad baby is more active today Marta . They do like to worry us.

Evening all. Is it ok if I join you please? I have been hanging back until my scan which was earlier this week. I am 21+6 weeks due on the 23 March 2013 with my third.

Yep, I remember getting my BFP just after you've joined the TTC thread. It feel like it was ages ago as I wasn't too relaxed a the beginning of the pregnancy. Hope I'll see you here very very soon!!!!

Welcome newbies. Missed most of your names because they disappear off the edge but I promise to learn them next time I'm on the pc.

Had a MW appointment today. 35 weeks tomorrow! My blood pressure is quite low and I need to start taking my iron tabs properly. Starting to worry that they may send me to another hospital. Really don't wanna... but my local is only a birth centre, so no docs.

MW said baby is a beast, was wriggling round all over the monitor. Had to lie on my back so long that I was too lightheaded to stand up. She told me baby's head is down and basically where I'd describe as bladder territory. No mention of engagement or anything though. Back in 2 weeks...

Hi ladies, hope you're all doing well and looking forward to the weekend! Congrats dribblekitten, lovely name - hope you're feeling well & enjoying lovely cuddles!

Well a bit of a weird situation atm as having the most uncomfortable back & stomach cramps ever on and off since just after 7, oh paniced and phoned my new midwife team and as my waters haven't broken and I'm not panicing myself they suggested a couple of paracetamol and a warm bath & to ring back if the 'cramping' gets unbearable or my waters go - I've a north London derby to watch tomorrow so have had a chat with my little lady & have told her she's to wait till after 3ish tomorrow if she does indeed want to put in an early appearance my oh is so desperate for her to be here he's convinced himself i'm in labour BUT it means he's doing everything for me atm so I'm not complaining lol
