I think I'm the record holder as far as no bedroom action is concerned. Since DH found out I'm pregnant (I was under 5 weeks) he has not agreed to any action at all. At first he was saying he doesn't want to hurt the baby but from the second trimester onwards he's saying we can't do it in front of the baby.
My OH talks to the baby and strokes my bump whilst DTD...I find it odd but he doesn't make any connection with it!:jBaby Boy born December 20120 -
Rups - I already tried this! No use, he won't have any of it.
Kitten - thanks, you just made me realise something very very important: sperm is good for softening the cervix but my cervix is ready for labour so hopefully an orgasm is all I need now.
Cramps after sweep already kicked in. Hope they don't go away!0 -

Not sure how comfortable I would be with that

My hubby is very protective of my bump - he talks to it, strokes it and even won't let me swear because "the baby can hear you". And if I'm playing with the baby by pressing my bump in various places to get him to kick DH gets upset that I'm pressing too hard and will hurt the baby!0 -
Well had my graduation yesterday. Was a grat day but a very long one and I'm paying the price now. I'm bloody wrecked. Full day in clinic o Uni today ad struggling to stay awake.
Baby boy been quieter with movements now. Think he has jut run out of room with his giganticness lol.
Only another week left of Uni. My landlady is coming to Do inspection tomorrow which sucks cos house is a tip and oh is working late tonight and I won't be able to start anything until after eight and he is working tomorrow too.
Hope everyone well.love you lots like jelly tots0 -

This never bothered me before but is starting to make me a bit sad now... we aren't married yet because it is (read: was) the least of our (read: his) priorities... his list goes:
1) move in to rental and stay happy for a few years (tick)
2) try for a baby (tick)
3) buy own house (working on it)
4) get married (no plans yet)
But now i think about it more...bump will have his name and I will be the outcastJust seeing you guys write hubby or DH and I have write OH is upsetting...although I think this is mostly hormonal...
We have been together 6+ years and lived together for 4+ years but I feel liek our marital status coupled with our age makes people de-value our realtionship... and I hate saying 'my boyfriend'......:jBaby Boy born December 20120 -
ikkle - i think thats enough kendal mint cake haha
elj - assuming you have had bubs and very busy as no posts for a few days.
clarissa - exciting that you have ordered tots bots, had a quick look on the website and love the colours. i am doing a trial when our baby is a few weeks old to work out which type of reusable to go for.
AMC - sorry to hear you are feeling down, chin up, baby will defiantely be here within 2 weeks. try to keep yourself busy, if thats possible being so heavily pregnant.
silly moo - great to hear you are 3 -4 cm dilated - we do a thing in yoga class called rotate to dilate, bascially get on all fours and rotate your hips (you could do this on your ball as well). my yoga teacher also mentioned about massaging at the top of your thighs where your lymph glands are as this can help. might sound like a load of mumbo jumbo but might help.
i have also brought some clary sage essential oil which i will use if my labour slows down.
i am feeling fine - 38+4 today - no signs of labour which is fine by me but i probably wont be saying that in a weeks time. next midwife appt is on tuesday when i look forward to hearing if the babys head is engaged, midwife said last time it had started to move into pelvis.

I don't want to get married much to my OH's disgust but I do want to have the same surname as OH and bubs so am changing my name via deed poll.
Will be quite glad to be rid of my name as an ex decided he liked it and changed his name to it via deed poll then had 15 minutes of fame and went on GMTV and in loads of papers and I hate being associated with it now lol.You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.
xx Mama to a gorgeous Cranio Baby xx

dizsie, if this is something that has been playing on your mind could you discuss it with OH.
My parents weren't married when I was born and I had my fathers name. I was a bridesmaid at their wedding and love looking at the pictures.
Could you plan your future wedding to be more of a family thing than a couple thing or if worried there is always the option of getting married before baby.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500
