We are still an every day couple, I think it helps that I don't have a bump although sometimes its a little uncomfortable for missionary cos it puts pressure on bubs and he kicks hard so sometimes we put a pillow over my tummy, not the most sexy look but it helps. We are a very touchy feely couple always cuddling, kissing, holding hands etc which was what stood out for us at the antenatal classes as everyone else seemed to have a mahoosive gap between them and their partners and me and OH were sat as close as possible holding hands and giving each other a kiss when the break was on.

Thanks for all your kind wishes everyone. I'm afraid I woke up this morning and had a good cry because the baby hasn't come yet and is showing no signs of wanting to come. I've never had any more than minor cramps. I''ve been off work for nearly a month now and starting to feel so tired of still being pregnant. I guess I am a bit depressed.

I know it's silly because it's only just my due date and silly moo and elj2287 haven't had their babies yet (although maybe elj, as it's 2 weeks now?) but of course you only focus on your own situation and I just really want to meet baby and not have to have a sweep or induction. I have no idea why first time babies are late so often!

Also it's so difficult to make plans to do anything because you don't know if the baby will be there. My husband and his dad are supposed to be going to the Olympics on 30 & 31 July. I had assumed the baby would be here by now so they could go but now I just don't know. My tickets have already been sold to other people but I want them to be able to go. Feeling very low at the moment. Have tried pineapple, evening primrose oil, raspberry leaf tablets (for weeks), yes trying sex too (!) and am going to force myself to go for a walk today, but nothing is really working. I know I'm not the only one in this situation but keep your fingers crossed for me.

Fingers crossed somethings happening for you! I was moaning in my sleep a few nights ago and DH bolted up out of bed and asked if I was having a contraction :rotfl:

Woke up to 3 text messages asking if baby had arrived yet. My gran at the ripe old age of 79 has bought herself an ipad and joined Facebook, so I had a Facebook message from her as well. She bought it so that she can video call the baby.

They(and me) are all from Johannesburg, but my dad lives in CT, lovely part of the World, have you been?

god we we at it like rabbits when we first stated dating and now its just tiredness and tiredness. he keeps so busy with his comedy and kung fu that i am not surprised and when he has free time he wants to do writing on the computer. such an old man now. i do miss it. we had our fair share of dirty texts etc but now nothing. he is so boring. lol. he does ask me to do a 'dance' for him but i feel so fatty that i keep putting it off. haha.

Any of you have been on medication during the first 12 wks ? i have sinusitis (5 day of treatment, 2 more to go) and being taking amoxillin since Monday.

Yep, I had a massive sinus infection when I was about 7 weeks pregnant - I felt dreadful. I took amoxicillin for a week too and it was absolutely fine, the prescribing doctor knew that I was pregnant and it doesn't seem to have had any adverse effect!

Tots Bots are brilliant, don't get disheartened if they don't work right away. I've heard from a few people that when bubbas are teeny fitteds and wraps work better, I don't know from my own experience though as I only started about a month ago. They are fab xx

yay morocha welcome properly! how are the other ladies on the less than thread? hope they are ok...

i am allergic to amoxicillin but was told it was be taken. meh.. think if i got ill they would give me erythromycin. i hate that as it messes my belly up.:(
