Its not looking like this baby will be here anytime soon, he's not even engaged he's still free! I've a sweep booked for Monday and have been provisionally booked for an induction on the 6th of November.

Hey everyone.:wave: Haven't been on this thread in a while as I'm posting on the FB group.:p

Just wanted to update on the consultant and planned caesarean thing. He has finally agreed to it, although on psychiatric grounds rather than for the severe M.E, which is a bit weird but I'm not complaining.
Date booked for 3rd December.

As for sex, DH still finds me sexy but I feel so disgusting and horrible that it's the last thing on my mind! I have horrendous discharge (TMI, I know!) and it just makes me feel disgusting. I'm very open with my DH about the unglamorous side of pregnancy lol so he doesn't really mind too much. I still have hands.LOL.

In other news, I had to have a full blood count blood test at the hospital earlier and I've come out in a lovely bruise!

In more other news, I've only put on 2lbs since my last consultant appointment 6 weeks ago, which is also the amount that baby has grown by. The consultant doesn't seem concerned but I'm eating more and not putting on the weight that the guidance says you're supposed to put on. =/

I'm 34 weeks and baby's approximate weight is 4.8lbs. They said that I'm going to have a small baby and that they don't want me having a big baby due to my small frame but I'm not sure if baby's weight at the moment is okay? I know no-one is concerned but even though I'm eating more etc, I'm just not putting on the weight and I'm not sure why. I only weigh 8 stone now. =/

If they're happy with baby's weight I wouldn't worry, I think the weight gain guidelines are quite vague, I've only gained 5lb in total, but whenever I ask anyone about it they say it's fine. Nearly 5lb sounds like a healthy weight for 34 weeks to me, I think they put on around half a pound a week in the last few weeks, so could end up as nearly 8lb at full term.

Hey LadyMorticia. Don't know much about your experience so far but... don't worry too much about your weight. If they were concerned then they'd say something. One of our ladies (I forget who) only gained a pound more than her baby weighed (if memory serves me correctly).

As for the TMI, what do you mean by horrendous? I had bad thrush early on. No itching/pain/smell... just a lovely cottage cheese effect (yep TMI). Doctor gave me a pessary and cream. Pessary worked a treat and cream was handy as OH could also use it after sex to stop us re-infecting each other.
