I think antenatal classes have scared my OH. I've got another d&v bug (about the 15th since getting pregnant - the joys of a rubbish immune system) and because at the antenatal class the midwife said the body has a clear out just before you go into labour he's now convinced I'm about to pop and won't let me out of the bedroom lol.

I can't believe its nearly time, in some ways it still doesn't feel real, even though the house has been totally taken over by baby stuff.

No twinges here either, are you getting the phonecalls/texts/emails yet? My gran is the worst, she's obsessed with weight and since 37 weeks has been wishing him out because "he's just getting fat in there now".

We've got my mum, father in law, sister in law, brother in law, niece and nephew arriving from South Africa on Saturday. Only my mum is staying with us, the rest of staying with other family, but the plan is that they all come to ours for lunch on Saturday. That is unless we're otherwise occupied. Was hoping he'd be here by now so that DH and I could get used to idea of having baby around without the pressure of having visitors. The in laws are here for 3 weeks, we haven't seen them for 4 years, so there is going to be a lot of pressure to see them often.

I'm predicting a late baby as well, and that I'll be last out of the 3 of us.

No going home outfit for us, as hopefully he'll be born at home. :-)

I've had minor cramps on and off all week but nothing else, no show or anything. Haven't had any phonecalls or texts recently. My mum was just here yesterday though so she knows nothing's happening. I plan to try and go for walks this weekend as it'll be dry to try and kick start labour.

Going home outfit – my mum bought us a lovely soft white babygrow and 'little star' on it with a star so will use that. Also going to take a couple of spare babygrows in case he's sick over himself before we get him home. I keep trying to visualise going into labour like a mind over matter trick but am finding it hard to imagine this baby will ever come out, even though of course he will eventually! Have got an appointment with the midwife on Tuesday when I'm 40+4 and she said she'll do a sweep then if I've not had baby. I'd really prefer to have baby asap to avoid that of course ...

Rebekah your little girl is absolutely gorgeous! She looks like she's having a really interesting dream in the video :D Many congratulations!

To the top five of us in the list, I wish us all to go into labour asap xxx

Yay congrats Rebekah - what a cutie!

I have an unexpected day off, some phone lines near the office came down in a storm last night so we have no computers, servers, phones etc so came home. Expecting to have to go back in this afternoon if they get fixed but not looking promising at the mo.

Congrats Rebekah, what a cutie :)

Also Bellola congrats on a freebie day off, we had one here a few years back when we had a legionella scare, it was lovely (not the legionella obviously!)

We're off camping tonight, not back til Monday and the campsite has zero phone signal so won't get back on til we're home. My list of pregnancy related things is nearly as long as all the other things, going to make up a bag with my notes, pills, creams, bump supports etc and keep in the car, though hopefully won't need most of it!

I'm going through the same with my OH, really stuggling to communicate at the min. I dont think its helps that i'm feeling down. He said to me over the weekend that he thinks i should go to the doctors. I've always through that he wasnt supportive over this cause he took the mick slightly when i went to CBT. I think he thought i was constantly talking about him and calling him to the counseller.

I went to the Drs today ( i already had an appointment booked) and came out not feeling too much better. I explained how i was feeling, well broke down and started crying while i was. She sort of worried me as the last Dr i mentioned it too about being able to BF while on antidepressant seemed ok about it. She was saying no, and wasnt keen to put me on anything yet as the baby could come out addicted to them, and be an irratible baby while they came off them. She has give me a few number to ring for counsellers as said the NHS would take ages. She has asked me to go back next week and she will look into if there is anything that i can take that would be safe over the week, as she didnt want to just give me anything. Is there anyone on tablets? did they explain this to you ?

So basically still feeling pretty poo, and got parents evening at nursery tonight, and need to mention to them about a girl who over the last 2 months has pushed DD into a wall and banged her head and pinched her face. DD said she did it cause she didnt want to play with her. Nursery have sort of fobbed it off as bumping into her and scratched by accident. Shes only there another 7 weeks then she starts school, but i think i should mention it.

Lol thanks LittleMoog. Quite lucky really as the base for our car seat has just been delivered. It would've come when I was at work so would have had to get it redelivered for next week and I'm very impatient so that would have peed me off!

Good luck with the camping, I hope you have a comfy bed!
