thanks katyliz. i am happily eating some skittles now and i know i shouldnt. oh well.

i was going to chill out more after the scan as i need to bubba again and know he/she is ok, but might as well go with the flow. its tiring now for me mentally to be worrying. hehe. i really was thinking that as soon as the 20 week scan is over i can relax. my manager said she relaxed completely after that as she was worrying too.

ah thats so sweet dizsie and savage. my mum just comes out with weird stuff, and makes me feel worse. wish she cared a little rather than just saying negative things like my baby is big. lol

no not yet. the midwife said as its my first baby, i might not feel movement till week 20. so am waiting. are you? sorry i have forgoten how many weeks you are. xx

Yes, I'm now 21+3 and have felt a bit of movement for the last two weeks or so (definitely before my scan which was at 20+4). You're due about a month after me though so hopefully in about two weeks' time you'll have some movement and a happy scan too

yay cant wait. want to feel little bubbas feet and hands and everything...i am dying to see him/her at the scan. 18 days left hehe

Thanks ikkle & MissMonkeyMoo - my grandparents on both sides have/had diabetes and my pre-pregnancy BMI was 32 so I was officially 'obese'. I'm thinking maybe I wasn't offered a GTT as my pee samples were always clear (sorry TMI).

emsbet - you're right. I shouldn't worry about DH not having things at the hospital. It's probably because I'm used to planning for both of us and get stressed if someone doesn't do as I say

Had cramps early in the morning and was hoping things started moving. But as soon as I got up they stopped. I thought keeping upright is meant to speed up labour not stop it. :mad: My 41+1 MW appointment is tomorrow and will probably have another sweep but am really frustrated and fed up now. I should have opted for a cc when I had a choice, at least the baby would be with us by now. My mum and dad came over from abroad yesterday and I was hoping our LO will arrive before they do so we can have a few quiet days without any visitors. That's not going to be possible now and I feel guilty about them just sitting about waiting for the baby.
