ahh how sweet!! They know when you have little bubbas.. so cute. i wonder how my brother's dog will behave this weekend? he is a right sulky one though. lol at DH's aunt and uncles house, their dog was so sweet and calm around me. they so sense that there is a little life in us.

Hi ladies, you sure know how to chat on here! I try and keep up everyday but I go off for one day and have about 4 pages to catch up on lol, God help you all on ML!:D

Cake4Brains- It is me, I have obstetric cholestasis. Googling probably isn't your best bet BUT that's the way I managed to get myself down the hospital to be tested for it because it wasn't picked up by any health professionals. Please don't panic about it, it is most common in multiple pregnancies (which I know you have your lovely little twinnies in there!) and you are in great hands and in the right place to be treated for it. It will go away as soon as the babas arrive, it is where your liver is compressed due to the girlies getting bigger in there resulting in your liver not processing bile salts as effectively as it should be, so instead it stays in your bloodstream, floats around and makes you really really itchy. You will probably be presecribes ursodexocholic (sp?) acid and vitamin K, I take 4 of the acid tablets and 1 Vitamin K a day and they symptoms have really calmed down. I also have to be monitored twice aweek in hospital and have a blood test weekly to test bile levels. Mine is every Tuesday and Friday. I am being induced at 38 weeks because this is the week that it CAN start affecting the babies, but from what I understand about multiple pregnancies they are sometimes induced earlier anyway? I may be wrong about that. I will send you a PM in a sec as well to let you know i've replied- I've been napping all afternoon then saw your message and needed to get it all out asap to try and reassure you!! I know it's hard but PLEASE don't panic!!

Ikkle congratulation for your little bundle of joy :j. So sorry to hear about your really long birth but I'm so glad that they left you go home so quickly.

Food talk I've tried not to read all that food talk but now it's too late. I'll go to Burger King after I post this . Fast food is soooooo tasty

yay aida.. you are my birth buddy (if you know what i mean?). how you feeling? Gosh when you say 8th month, that is scary!! Lol. i know for me it is the countdown to xmas and i am like aghhh.

i want to sleep now but we have our nct class at 8 tonight..im hungry too and taking back my lunch home as i had lunch with friends. what to eat on the way? hahaha

No, I'm lurking to see when you all have your babies, and to check there is nothing I can help anyone with. If anyone has any questions, please feel free to ask me and I'll try my best to answer them. I know how great it was when some of the ladies who'd had their babies came back on the thread to post when I was getting near to the end - made me feel more confident.

Phew, I typed that in record time! Just caught up on all the posts and am now VERY hungry. Indigestion has returned with a vengeance recently though, no matter what I try and avoid it still turns up, and it's so painful. My nails have never looked so shiny from all the milk drinking though, every cloud, eh?

Have had a busy week this week, had midwife appointment on Monday and she's told me she won't see me again now as i'm on consultant care and on this constant hospital watch, she said she's definately coming to find me when she sees my name on the hospital board though, she wants to meet the little man that's been causing all the uproar Everything was fine there, his heartrate was around 150bpm, his head partially in my pelvis :eek: urine was fine, she was pretty happy. Then had my CTG monitoring on Tuesday and all hell was let loose again! He would not sit still for 10 minutes to get a reasonable trace, ended up laying on my side with wires coming out of everywhere (i'm a big lady so not the easiest manouvere!) His heartrate kept spiking at about 190bpm, protein in my urine and bile levels are at 39 :mad: I was up there for 3 hours, and only let out because his heartrate was resting at 168 which is still high but normal for him and on the premise that I go straight back up if he doesnt move once an hour I'm so happy that I am being looked after so well though, I could have just been left and then who knows what would have happened, it's not the nicest being poked and prodded but at least something is being done.

Day of rest yesterday so literally stayed in bed the whole day, trying to calm him down. Today had my whopping cough jab, apparently nobody in my town is getting the flu jab until 10th Nov, i'm first on the list but Flump will be here before that so and tomorrow i'm up for monitoring at 9.30 then have my sister in law's wedding at 12, lets hope Flumpus behaves himself tomorrow otherwise I may be in trouble! :whistle:

So I had a belly pop last night! I was laying in bed and my tummy literally sounded like it popped/clicked I wouldn't get up as I was worried my waters would gush everywhere so just laid there watching TOWIE hoping it wasnt happening.. luckily I got up and nothing happened, honestly had no clue what to do. DH was snoring his head off next to me and I was just frozen.

Ok enough of me, hope you are all doing well and keeping yourselves rested.
