Lol. Realised it sounded like Homer after I typed it...

I've never had a hissy fit or backed out of a jab but I do hate them. Don't particularly like the idea of putting stuff in my body. Even avoid paracetamol like the plague. OH knows I've got a serious headache/cold when I start looking for something to kill it.
  • I've got my flu and whooping cough jabs tomorrow, bit late I think but hey-ho.

Had mine together last week, it was fine but I was exhausted afterwards, which I think was probably due to the jabs, something to keep in mind.

To those who have had it... both in one arm vs. one in each?

Don't know if I'm even going to be offered it. Midwife didn't mention it last time I was in and I was 28 weeks. Next appointment is next Friday so maybe they'll say something then?

I had them in the same arm following comments from others that both arms (if you had it in each arm) were swollen and sore and hard to sleep on! Mine were fine though so could have had them either way really. I didn't even swell up or anything, just was useless that evening and on into the next day. Ask the midwife, but in my area it seems to be the GP's who need to arrange it (I asked the midwife about whooping cough, she hadn't heard anything at the time but said I should also get the flu jab, so I phoned the GP who booked me in - then about two weeks later the GP phoned up independently to ask me to come in for flu and whooping cough jabs as I was pregnant...!)

Thank savage, I'll ask mw when I see her. Gotta phone the GP anyway because apparently I was supposed to have a letter to go to asthma clinic but I haven't had one yet? So I'll get everything done at the same time lol.

Poor morocha. Bath and some nice hot chocolate when you come out? And get some oranges/satsumas in you :) vitamin c ftw x

Aw morocha - that's not pleasant! Hot honey and lemon to drink, halls soothers sweets (probably the only thing we're allowed), some rest if you can manage it and a couple of paracetamol for the aching! And lots and lots of sympathy from me!

God I hate how I can turn into a miserable cow so quickly these days. I've finished all my work, sat doing boring stuff to fill the time and I've got a face like a slapped ar$3!
