  • Evening all, lovely to see the thread so busy again today :D well I had my 34 week midwife appointment this morning. In there for all of about 4 minutes, different MW (again):p but she was lovely. Had to take my BP twice as first was a little high - oops. Was fine 2 minutes later though. Said I needed to get jabbed for flu and whopping cough at surgery clinic. Made appointment after - they had a cancellation for this afternoon, so I'm all done :) hopefully they won't be too sore tomorrow.

Since mid afternoon, reckon baby has moved and camped on my bladder  have been to the loo about 15 times and still feel like I need to go again, well baby wants to shift it ASAP as its not funny :o

Hope everyone is well, thinking you cake hope all is well :) will wait for your update.

    Enjoy your evening everyone :)

babymonster I'm expressing my milk at the moment as Jonathan won't latch, and now I have mastitis, it's too sore to try him for a bit - on my pump I can turn the suction on low - Jonathan doesn't have one of these dials. lol You're right that you burn 500 calories a day breastfeeding, so it has allowed me a few extra biscuits. :) My tummy is almost flat enough to wear my pre-pregnancy clothes 3 weeks on now but is stripy and lacks tone now.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Well you might think me mad but I was happy when I found out I was pregnant for two reasons...1. I get to have my Squirmy and 2. I get to put weight on!

God help me when I'm breastfeeding, I'm never gonna get an extra 500kcal in. I'll end up having everyone think I've got an eating disorder again :(

Never worry about what other people have put on/lost while pregnant. Every one of us is totally different! I have not weighed myself since my initial booking in and to be honest I'm not going to. I'm trying to be a little more careful about what I eat this time as I got carried away with DS and put on a lot. Plus I went out of control after he was born as i got so hungry with the bfing and ate too much, my weight shot up even further. I lost it all and it took me about 9 months to lose it. i thought that was fair as it took me nine months to put it on!

However, if I put a huge amount on this time - and I might as this baby appears to be growing at the same rate DS did and he was huge!, then i will not get upset about it - i'll go back to WW and lose it again. i know I can. Moral of the story - it doesn't matter what you gain/lose. You can deal with it afterwards!

lecture over! Lol! how's everyone this morning??

sexymouse - ouch for the mastitis! Not something I had but my best friend did and she said it was like drawing razor blades through when her DD was feeding. You have my sympathies. Glad you and J are doing well

I suppose you're right Neph, just gotta wait and see ini?

That's become my new mantra I think "wait and see" lol.

All good here. A little tired but I only woke up at 8 and I'm already in work. Fridays are so depressing, never enough work!!!

Hope Moog is going to enjoy her last day and I'm wondering if she made us any cakes...

Wait and see works for me Bamama! Never ignore anything you're not ahppy about though!

Hmmm - cakes would be yummy but it's only 9am so must put food out of my mind as not long had my breakfast and may explode if i eat anymore!

had my flu jab yesterday. Whooping cough jab in 4 weeks!

no sadly I didn't make *any* cakes as by the time I got home i was totally knackered, and then found DH hadn't done the washing up the night before :o

Stopped by Sainsbo's this morning to collect fresh doughnuts for work, I can smell them from my desk now - not sure they'll make it to teabreak at 10.30 without me opening them!

Better get on with some work or I'll end up working late on my last day to get my report finished!

The actual jab didn't hurt tbh. My arm was a bit hot afterwards and is a little puffy and red today but it's fine. I was more worried about how my DS was going to reac tto his as he was getting it after me. Thankfully he got the nasal spray instead. he hated it but at least i didn't have to try and calm him down after a needle shot!
