aaah, thanks for all your messages, it means a lot! Just nipped in to see if there was news on Sexymouse - big congrats to you hun! Hope you are getting lots of rest and lots of loves!
Can someone tell me how to upload a photo onto here? Would love to share a pic of Gracie with you but just don't know how to!
Hugs to all - and to those of you worrying about the birth, fluffnutter's post is spot on; I agree that I cannot say it is not painful but it is a surreal kind of experience and you will all cope and be absolutely ok! The main thing is to try and stay calm and not get scared; it's the fear that will make labour seem more difficult than it needs to be. Please don't worry ladies! xxxx0 -
my DH didn't like it at first either now he wont mention any other name
when everyone asked what names we had in mind he would say maisie and they would say what a nice name it was!
i get abit worried about driving to hospital, we live out in the country so its a bit of a drive, it would be fine at night, not taking more then 30mins but during the day it gets really buisy that way, plus the last time DH drove me to hospital he got lost lol!0 -
eek imagine walking or driving yourself to the hospital. that would make me panic as i would worry what could happen on the way, where to park (as our parking is hideous at the hospital). think cab might be an idea. eek!!! thats scary.
hope you are ok cake.. hugs.. the pain must be so uncomfy,Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

Oh, I did not know you could buy the cd for hypnobirth, I will buy it this week! I am sure at least will bring positive thinking, so it will be good.
I am also more scared of the emotional part, like not bonding, not knowing how to deal with the baby, not having enough support, a change in our relationship... I am not too scared of pain, I am not looking forward to it, but I know it will be over soon, I am mote concerned of having a big tear that will be painful for longet, and Iam terrified of any bowel incident. I know people say I would not give a damn if it happems, but it is not a memory I want any of us to have! Somebody please tell me it is not that common!
I love all sci-fi and fantasy stuff: books, films, tv series, games.... Lord of the rings, Game of Thrones, Shannara, Star Trek, Star Wars, Stargate, Skyrim, Dragonage... I can wait to be able to read to the baby stories with adventures and fantasy! As I tell my DH, I am geek and proud! Lol, I think the toys in my house are going to be castles and forests and dragons and spaceships hahaha We went to ToysRUs last weekend and DH and I ended playing with a Spacegun and a Lightsaber on the corridor, I think it is going to be fun to play with the kidor kids... DH said that after this one, we go for te second!! I will be 35 next year, so I guess he wants to avoid to go well over that age (as I do).
I feel more normal now I know I am not the only one going to bed late!!
SM, congratulations!!! Jonathan is a great name, in fact it is the name we have chosen for a boy if we ever have one. I hope you rest well and have lovely bonding moments with him.
Savage, I see what you mean. I didn't get that thing about moving you. That bed in the waterbirth room, as you have figured out, is not for laying on your back but to be usrd as a support if you are on your knees, etc. I did find the going up and down confusing but that is why I want to go again and this time take notes!!
I had something else, but I forgot :?Quit smoking *1st January 2010*

MMM, for the pictures, there is an icon on top of the message box with a landscape, like a mountain with a sun, you click there and put the internet address where you have the picture. The address has to link to the picture itself, if you have dropbox, you can right click on it and click on "get link", if you use Facebook, I think you can right click on pic and choose "copy image address"or "copy link to image", I am on phone and I cannot try at the moment. If you have problems, let me know what you are using and I try to type a step by step.Quit smoking *1st January 2010*

Yay sexymouse!!! - congratulations
Mummyoftwo - sorry that you feel so down about the induction, I hope you're feeling more positive soon. On the plus side it sounds like your body is ready so hopefully it'll work quickly. My cervix hasn't ripened at all, so I'm sure you'll get there before I do.
toni -I agree with everyone else about the spelling of Maisie, that's definitely the original spelling. I think Maisy Mouse has corrupted the way people view the spelling! DH doesn't want to tell anyone my name list as he doesn't want the eventual choice influenced by other people's opinions, so I'll have to keep quiet for now.
Rups - yay for BIL leaving, I hope it happens for you! You'll be able to get your nursery done soonCross Stitch Cafe member no.800 -
Afternoon ladies
It's macmillan coffee morning at work today, and I think I've eaten my own body weight in cakesIt's for a good cause though, so I'm refusing to feel guilty :A:rotfl:
DH collected our pram (Uppababy Vista) yesterday so spent the evening trying out all the various combinations, I'm so pleased with it :j That was our last big item to get, although I'm seeing my sister at the weekend to collect the moses basket and newborn bits she's lending me. Then I think we're all sorted apart from a few bits like some toys and a playmat etc. Will wait and see what work get me, as they normally give vouchers.Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160
