Not sure what's in a grooming kit, but I've not felt the need for one and Freddie's nearly three months old. Their hair's too sparse to need brushing and broken fingernails can be gently pulled or bitten off. Sounds like a bit of kit that manufacturers would have you believe you can't live without, but in actual fact you don't need at all.

Save your money and spend it on clothes. It's really fun buying clothes :)

You should put up a pic toni, there have been a few cute pet pictures on here :)

Rups the tommee tippee grooming kit is always under a tenner on amazon. Some of the things in the kits are strange though - I never used a nasal aspirator with my kids, and my son certainly never had enough hair for the brush lol. I just grabbed a separate thermometer and nail clippers as that's all I've ever really used.

  • Toni, my little staffie was like that with our HV. Chucked her out of the living room after a few mins and she cried LOUDLY all the way through the appointment!

Meant to say, got a lovely christmas prezzie last night in Asda for the Grandparents if anyone wants to see. Think its a great idea

THIS - its got sections for each grandparent to write their own memories about their childhood as well

has anyone bought a grooming kit for their baby? or have you just bought all the bits seperately? i dont know what i really need, nail clippers, brush, anything else?

we just got bits separate, we got a soft brush and comb, some clippers but scissors as well because with bubbas being so small I don't want to nip his skin with the clippers which can happen!
