far ive got a fisher price soothe and glow seahorse in my basket as they look quite good
I think the newborn thread was talking about this yesterday, apparently the frog is better as the seahorse only plays music for 5 mins?

I suggest you try read men are from mars, women from venus, closely followed by the 5 languages of love :) Explains a bit about the differences between men and women!
  • Welcome newcook :)

Glad you had a nice birthday Rups.

I'm on baby three and I haven't had a single second of nesting in any of my pregnancies lol! I'm glad the HV doesn't come round until baby is 2 weeks old here so I don't have to worry about the mess.

Glad you were feeling better bikeless. I'm the same in my bad food spells, I eat the same as hubby and the kids, but it's only me that gets ill.

I spent over £10 on chocolate and crisps for my hospital snacks today. I'm anticipating needing a sugar rush! That's absolutely everything done and packed now :)

  • Rups I've been with DH over 9 years, married for 7 and he's bought me flowers three times in all those years, plus he doesn't do valentines or anniversary cards. So you're hubby isn't the only one who isn't romantic.

i know this is wrong to say but makes me feel sligtly better. lol. we have friends who are so different and i know it is WRONG to compare. saying that one of them is Italian and is always all over his wife and sooo romantic even in public. lol. i understand him now which is why i wasnt going to make a big deal yesterday. i was lucky to be taken for dinner. :) i am going to treat myself to some lovely Swavorski ear rings i saw.:)thankfully i can put aside some money from my pay for them and they are not that madly priced.

my inlaws gave me debenham vouchers and am wondering what i can buy lol

  • Lol Rups, glad it makes you feel better. My DH won't even hold hands in public let alone have a kiss! I'm so used to the way he is now that I don't even think about it, but to other people it seems weird.

I'm sure you'll find something lovely to buy with your vouchers, make sure you have fun shopping and treat yourself.
