bikelesschick - just read your bit about food poisoning and yes, women are more susceptable to it when pregnant hence no runny egg yolk to dip chips in , no pate or certain cheeses, not allowed certain meats etc

You can have runny eggs as british eggs are lion stamped and safe to eat. One of the ladies on here is married to an egg farmer lol. The reason for no pate is to do with high levels of Vit A in liver not a risk of food poisoning.

Just that contractions were getting more intense and frequent and that hospital had told her to wait till they were 2 minutes apart. She was at home with her mum at the time.

Wasn't in the hospital last time she commented, they wanted contractions
2-3 minutes apart for 2-3 hours before they were interested (!) - she was 3-4 mins apart but they sounded pretty regular and intense.

Off to hospital now as can't cope with the pain any more and mucus getting quite bloody so they said they'd look at me now. May not be able to update from there if staying. Thanks for all the well wishes. xx
