I'm so tired, but have been awake for ages since the stupid cat woke me up with his incessant ars*ing about. Feel all grumpy now. Have to see midwife at 10.45, so I suppose I should get up and start on with some jobs anyway, but I jst feel tired.

I couldn't sleep last night. My little one started to move and kick around 4 am and I just couldn't sleep. I'm not moaning as I'm really happy to feel her .

Morning all!

Happy due date SamW - eek - I'm the next boldie!

Got midwife appointment at 9:40 today so will be interested to see if she agrees that Bean is no longer in my pelvis. A friend from aquanatal who is due 2 weeks today had said her baby was 3/5ths palpable at her last appointment, and she thinks her baby has come back out and is transverse too. Have been doing a couple of exercises from the spinning babies website to hopefully make Bean go head down, but have been worried about doing them too much in case I make things worse. Will see today anyway what position she thinks he's in and what happens from here, as due on Sunday, and think it'll end up in a c-section if he is transverse when I'm in labour.

Btw - if anyone does want to do the lists if I'm unable to (I know ikkle was doing them, but she's due very soon too), then all you need to do is to quote my post then remove the quote brackets. If today is the due date of someone, you make them go bold, if they've been on the birth list for 2 months, they get deleted, and if they've gone over the 2 weeks (day 15) they go on the too worn out to post list.

Hugs to all who need or want them, and labour vibes where appropriate.

Good luck for the MW appointment snowbean, hope you get some rest today as well. I'm being induced on the 28th at 39 weeks, that's why I've only got a week to go.

Hope you have a good MW appointment too sexymouse. My little one has popped in and out since first being 3/5, but she is back there head down now, hopefully your baby will be too. Is it over the next week that you need him to be born in order to avoid your MIL?

rups are you feeling better today?

so upset - had yet another call informing me there is no cover for my long-booked homebirth for the next 24 hours. im 40 + 4, and had a trace yesterday showing contractions.... i just want to cry. too much pressure/stress.

Rups, apparently men who are expecting babies (or have just become parents) can get this way, if it's a new thing it might be what's happening to him? They get all worried about this new little arrival and feel the only way to 'help' is to make sure they work really hard and provide for it (read: long hours!); where what you might be needing is for him to be home more often and/or help out at home. Hope you can have a calm conversation with him and explain how you are feeling.

I managed to download it while it was still up, but it's probably been taken off the website now. I think I have until sometime in October to watch it, not sure if I can copy it for you somehow onto a DVD or something (don't know how the DRM stuff works!)
