  • I needed to write this somewhere...(can't say it out loud in real life incase I bore people but you all know what i mean!)... I CANT WAIT FOR MY SON TO BE HERE!!!!

I love him so much already x

    Aaaaaawwwww :T
  • it gets better! my mother has been on the phone for a full disection of her four births... how my delivery was delayed because she needed a poo, my first brother nearly died because he was posterior (!!!!!!?!), with my sister her waters broke early, second brother took six induction attempts. the common thread? inductions, drips, monitors, flat on her back in the hospital bed... my last birth was a four hour active homebirth, booked for HB with this little un too... so anyway, cheers mam!
  • Has your Health Visitor been ikkle? Was she nice? I've never heard of anyone seeing theirs before the baby is born.

All is still the same here. 37 weeks and 4 days today, and I have this afternoon off work. I'm working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday and then I finish at 4pm Thursday for a weeks holiday before my maternity leave kicks in on 1st October. am so looking forward to just chilling out at home for a bit/ I've not had a weeks holiday since 2009!

Plus on Weds after work my colleagues are taking me out for dinner, and then on Thursday OH and I are seeing the midwife at 415pm then going out for a early tea to celebrate my finishing work.

I was feeling a bit mixed about leaving work as I'm quite precious about my job and have struggled a little bit with feeling annoyed by training up my two stand-ins, and teaching them in a few months things that I have taken years to build up and work out for myself, but today some emails got sent around my a very arrogant and clueless member of staff complaining about something and trying to change a procedure and I have to admit that I felt relieved that its not me that's going to have to deal with his !!!!!!!!!

    :-)

OMG that would really irritate me esp as i am irritated now with people's stupid comments. I am glad i will be off on the 7th of December. If i am good and can manage to not take any more days off, i can extend that to the 1st. The texts will really p1ss me off!!!

dizsie that is so cute. I sometimes talk to my belly and i end up thinking 'god how can i be so attached to my little thing inside me?'. i just want to have a look at him/her when they are out to see who they look like, how they will be. awwhh cant wait even though today i woke up terrified about labour!

MummyOfTwo I've been getting messages like that since 32 weeks lol.
 so early?? I'd have changed my mobile number if I were you... happy due day!

I meant to say a few more things but I completely forgot. Baby brain is really bad at the moment! I've finally managed to get some ecover this morning so need to start washing baby's stuff. Doh! I forgot to buy some colour catchers! I'll just have to leave the colours for another time. Do we need to wash baby's clothes at 60 degrees now or is it just once they're born and actually wearing the clothes?

Labour vibes to all the boldies :)
