ermmm confession time! I gave in to a Mc Chicken sandwich meal - a large one!! i hope no one comes and judges me now..lol

I had pie and cake for lunch. An actual chicken and mushroom pie, followed by a slice of cherry and rhubarb cake. It was delicious. No judgement from me :D
  • Shift over, ended up being a 25 hour one but nevermind!!

Rups I am judging you as a genius lunch choice maker!! I've just had a cheese and han bagel but could still manage a mcchicken sandwich if one was available! They are the healthy macdonalds choice as well!

My tuppence worth on sterilisers- we had a boots own microwave one with DD, it was brill, I mix fed, it fit all brands of bottles and lived in the microwave only to come out once a day. This time we've bought the avent micro one, very similar, still fits small and large bottles, it's not as tall but our microwave is smaller. My reasoning is it's not going to be used loads if breast feeding goes well and doesn't take up valuable counter space. My best friend is just using bucket/ tablets and that's working fine for them as they are only giving an occasional bottle.

On dummy giving- a pack of dummies will definitely be going into my hosp bag, DD was a baby who liked to such for comfort, I didn't sleep in hospital as had my pinky in her mouth all the time she wasn't breastfeeding, it was crazy, the midwives said to do that instead of give a dummy!!! I am older and wiser and much more assertive now so would like to see them try and tell me not to give this baby a dummy! Baby may not need or take to one though, every baby is different and I appreciate their stance on nipple confusion. My line this time is in a serene tone to tell the health professionals "I appreciate that that is the official guidance" on whatever the matter may be, lol.

It won't stop the texts, Rups! Honestly, nothing does. From about a couple of weeks before you're due.. ping ping! Have you had that baby yet? All day, every day. And I don't even have that many friends :D
