I feel rubbish... I think I might be feeling worse because I feel sorry for myself iyswim? Boss is off with manflu (man up!) so I am holding the fort...very efficiently I think...but perhaps just waring myself out? x:jBaby Boy born December 20120 -
Ohh visitors, i wont have any for two weeks and no hospital visits apart from MIL and FIL, just like i did with DD. My mum lives abroad and sadly can not come over, my in laws are lovely and i know they will help if i need them.
Problem is, i do not like sharing my baby, i really dont like people handling my tiny baby, so it is better for me not to have visitors, plus i would feel like they would be invading my privacy and me feeling and looking awful plus moody with sleepless nights.Mejor morir de pie que vivir toda una vida de rodillas.0 -

We’ll probably have lots of visitors in the first couple of weeks, although we haven’t discussed it with people yet. We’re expecting all the parents in the first day/two home from hospital though. My aunt and uncle (who are like my parents) and DH’s Dad and stepmum don’t really concern me. They know when to leave and aren’t a problem, I’m even hoping that my aunt will be able to take a couple of days leave and stay a few nights with us as I know she’ll pitch in with keeping on top of the laundry and cooking etc, and let me get on with the baby stuff. (plus as a mum of 4 and grandma of 4 already, the hands on practical help will be appreciated!) My sisters (all 4 of them!) will be happy to wait a couple of weeks, and are likely to just pop in for a cuppa and leave after an hour or so (and if not wouldn’t take offence to me telling them to get lost!), and DH’s brothers and stepsister are similar. DH’s mother on the other hand I find very difficult to deal with, and she doesn’t drive so would have to get herself to us via public transport, which she’ll make a huge fuss about (normally DH goes to collect her, but it’s a 2 hour round trip). I generally find her incredibly infuriating, so not looking forward to seeing her really (I never do!)
feel a bit bad about it, but she’s such hard work. She also only works part-time, and I’m worried that she’ll want to come and stay  The whole idea horrifies me
We’ve also been informed that DH’s grandma won’t be waiting for us to feel up to going to visit her, so DH’s stepmum will be going to collect her at some point and we’ll have to visit her at DH’s dad’s house. At least we’ll be able to escape easily there though! She’s probably the person that’s most excited about the baby though (even more than we are! :rotfl:) as it’s her first great-grandchild and she is a bit of a matriarch so it’s easier to fit in with her plan of how things will be than argue about it!Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -

Glad things are back to normal for you Dizsie. I'm sure you could have done without the being sick part though :cool:0 -
Rups on passing your driving test! Well done you! Don't think I could've handled the pressure of that whilst being pregnant too. Hope your DH does something to spoil you tonight so you can celebrate your achievement.
Diszie I'm glad your little one is moving about again and hope you stop feeling sick soon.
Need to dry my hair as I didn't bother after aquanatal and have only just got home from doing a small food shop (essential items such as biscuits lol). Think I'm going to have a little nap after that though, as feeling quite tired now. Moon will be home from work soon.
Hugs to all who need or want them, and labour vibes where appropriate.
