No Elelyn, no queue jumping! I mean, fingers crossed, hope this is it! Lol. I'm totally ready now, had an awful day yesterday with upset stomach and discomfort but today I feel fine. Due date on Friday, I hope baby makes it's appearance before then though!

Im 39+1 I honestly thought she would be here now. I was hoping before DD returns to school so she could spend a few days with her baby sister but that's not going to happen now as shes back Wednesday.

Hee, hee - looks like it's going to be a race to see which of us will go first.

Another one with stretch marks here - thought I'd got away with just a couple on my right hip until I looked in the mirror after my bikini wax and found them underneath my bump, and one of them is quite big too. I've been putting moisturiser on every day, but it hasn't made a difference. Read an article online yesterday that said it wouldn't make a difference as the stretch marks affect the layers of skin that are much deeper than the cream can moisturise and that it's down to genetics as to whether you'll get them or not.

Good news is, my hospital and labour bags are virtually packed now. :) In the process of cleaning out a travel bottle that had gone a bit mouldy from conditioner residue so that I can refill them, and won't pack my maternity notes and going home outfit just yet as both will be in use for as long as possible.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Lol Dizsie, I just thought it looked red!

Thanks Katyliz, hope you're feeling better soon too, you sound really fed up. I'm not really feeling bad now, just feel like my head has a cloud inside it

Rups, yeah I would have a small travel change mat to take out with you, mostly cos you never know what skanky surface you might have to put baby down on to change them, but also, it would be better to catch any leakage on a mat rather than it ending up all over your mate's carpet or something!

Thanks snowbean and Rups, I think I'm just having an off day. I was supposed to be taking the kids to the park to meet a friend, but I'm not up to it. I feel worse because the kids are missing out and they only have one more day of holiday left.

I'm going to get on with my birth sampler, at least that's something useful to do with my time. Oh, and I've picked out a knitting pattern for a cute little jumper:) I'll just have to get my Mum or Grandma on to it as I don't have the necessary skills.

katyliz dont be too hard on yourself. Just take your time and rest. I am sure you can make up for taking your kids out at a later day. xxx

i wish i could knit. i saw such cute booties in next (which i bought as they came with a wooly hat) and i wished i could knit so wouldnt spend money on buying some stuff. :)
