I think ours would be the problem one as sometimes plates dont even fit properly sideways and i dont think the height is right.

52 plate Vauxhall Zafira, my OH's first grown up none chavved up car lmao. I will just make do with the one that came with the pram for a while and then when he's a bit bigger buy a fixed one. Prob be easier to start with anyhow.

Lol! I remember when we first had to get a grown up car, DH had to ditch his Peugeot 106 for a family car. He thought it was a sign of getting old and middle aged (he was 21 at the time!).

I'm wishing we had a bigger car but can't afford to change it for now. Not that our car is small, it is a big estate, but a 7 seater would be nicer so that others could fit in the car too.

Ooh Rups I just realised you said you've got your driving test! Good luck. Does your DH already drive or will it be you transporting you both about?

Lol my OH is 26 and of a similar opinion lol. Only reason we have bought the Zafira is because it's my aunties car and she is moving to Oz at the end of the month and gave us a very good deal. She's giving us her sat nav as well and it has 12 months test 6 month tax so we've got a real bargain.

  • We got a car in march 2011 and decided on a 5 door because we knew we were going to try to conceive in Jan 2012. I think its a lot easier to get a carseat in and out of a 5 door so when we have to change cars again in march 2013 we're going to stick to the same again I think
  • A while ago someone posted the tesco glitch with the changing bag...i really liked it but can't remember the name of it..can anyone help?

  • I'd love a new car...i have an old fiesta (10 years old), but unfortunately i want a new kitchen more!!

My DH gets a car with work and he has just ordered an insignia estate! sounds big, but because he works from home, all of his tools and work stuff is in the boot - no room for a pushchair!
