Wow ikkle - that's a LOT of clothes! Still, hopefully you won't need to buy any for quite some time now, whereas the rest of us who've only got newborn and 0-3month stuff will be hitting the shops at some point. Love how organised everything is though. Are you going to wash all of the clothes before bubs comes along?Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

It looks like my sweep was not successful after all. Had lots of cramps on Friday and then contractions at night. Then nothing all Saturday and contractions at night and lost my mucus plug (sorry, TMI). And now nothing all day again. Frustrating.
I feel your frustration! Though I still have my mucus plug!
Have you got an appointment for another sweep?
10 days over and counting...come on baby!!!
Good luck Rebekah!! So exciting!!0 -
Good luck Rebekah!
Yesterday morning had a teary moment. I guess the frustration of pregnancy got to me a bit and was feeling a bit sorry for myself. However had a lovely afternoon out with friends and it cheered me up. Still no signs bubba is ready to come though!
Re the nursing chair, not bought anything suitable yet. Got my eye on this one instead of a glider type. I want it to read on long term and think these look a bit more attractive than the glider type. We've still got some money on debenhams gift card which will cover most of it. http://www.debenhams.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/prod_10001_10001_320004100982MISC_-1
Going on final pre baby shopping trip. Think the only thing we need now is the waterproof bottom sheet. Buying mine from John Lewis as the one ive spotted has some good reviews.2025 financial goals & challenges!

been reading how prepared everyone is! wow, think i need to do some shopping
what room thermometer has everyone bought? i like the look of the advent room and bath thermometer but i cant decide. I read the reviews on amazon and theres always a few bad ones for every thermometer about reading the wrong temperature, should you buy 2 to compare them and be on the safe side?
Now going to write my list of what to buygoing to be a long one i think.....

I've got the advent one, it's been sat in the nursery for a while now and it reads the same or close enough to the free hipp one I have and our thermostat on the heating.

Are you planning to buy a monitor? If so, many have a built-in room thermometer so you might not need a separate one. I'd second what Emsbet said about the free HIPP thermometer - it might just be a piece of cardboard, but it's surprisingly accurate!
Happy shopping!0 -
im undecided about getting a monitor at the moment, i dont know if we'll get much use from it, think id rather check my baby alot more then rely on a piece of equipment but thats just me
plus i dont have a big enough house, if the baby cries i think we'll here her in every room
but i do like the thought of takening it in the garden when feeding the chickens/playing with puppy. Need to think about it some more
