I'm really really lucky in the most nights I can sleep through without bathroom breaks, and although I am going more in the day, it's only every couple of hours- I'm thinking it's because baby is breech so there's no little head pressing on my bladder? I can still cross my legs too!

I don't get to keep my ctg graphs, they tuck them inside a brown envelope in my big hospital file. I always try and crane my neck to get a look at them as they are coming out of the machine, but the MW's don't really like to show you them here. Do you get them to keep in your handheld notes?
Yeah I've got the big brown envelope in the back of my handheld notes with the graphs in hun. I think it depends who I see, I know with certain midwives and doctors if I ask them something they will take the time out and go into great detail to explain something and answer my questions whereas a couple of others at the hospital huff at me and don't bother.
Like the PI and RI flow. I'm that used to looking at bubba's growth and checking it's within the centiles that to see the PI go from centre of the centiles down to the lowest one within a few weeks worried me because I didn't understand them, one midwife poo-pooed me for asking her to explain it and for not knowing what it is 'if it was important the doctor would have told you' another one explained it to me and my OH and really put my mind at ease.
I do have a list of 2 midwives who I don't want with me when I'm in labour though lol. Purely because one of them is so happy go lucky and a bit patronising that I think I might lose my marbles and the other because she is a brute and a bit of a witch and I will have my mother there to fill that role lol.You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Morning all!
I'm officially 37 weeks so full term today! :j Bean has been doing Mexican waves in my tummy and was particularly active yesterday. When I was walking with my friend on Friday I felt these sharp shooting pains right up the middle of my bits, and she said that this was effacement, so hopefully things are heading in the right direction then.
Fur baby stayed outside for 24 hours after the VET this time (the longest he's ever sulked for), but happily, he came in for a saucer of tuna last night (I bought it for him as a reward for being brave), and at around 2am today, he came upstairs and snuggled up against bump and purred for ages. He's not been in this morning but I think that's cos MIL is out horse-riding, so he's probably around there eating her cat's food. :rotfl:
Went to the new JoJo Maman Bebe that opened yesterday where I live, and got fitted for a nursing bra - I'm not as big as I thought I was judging by my maternity ones(still a B cup and not even filling that up - don't know whether nursing bras are different in that sense). Got this bra in the nude colour (not particularly stylish or flattering, but it'll do until I'm sure what size I am when my milk comes in). I also got it for £12 as had a £5 off voucher due to the opening so :money:.
Well I'd better go and get some breakfast now as tummy starting to feel rumbly.
Hugs to all who need or want them, and labour vibes where appropriate.

Good morning ladies.
bcs - how cute is harvey! He is absolutely gorgeous. Hope you are able to work through the problems you're having at the moment.
I'm after suggestions ladies. DH and I want to book a last holiday before baby arrives (january). We'd like to go Nov/Dec time to a posh spa type hotel within 5 hrs of Bedford, preferabley by the sea. The go - to hotel we've been to in the past which I adore is Peebles hotel hydro, we're after something similar but by the sea, closer and a little less run down than Peebles has sadly got over the years. I wondered if any of you have any lovely hotels you know of that I could look up?0 -
zcrat it may be worth posting on the holidays board for ideas - they are very helpful over there and also good at getting the best prices etc for you.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

Thanks Sexymouse. Just wondering if anyone had their own favourite if you know what I mean - if someone asks me I always suggest Peebles!
Looking at all these lovely spa places now - but I wouldn't be able to use the jacuzzi's - seems such a shame as that's my favourite bit!0 -
morning all.:)
how are you?
i tried the argos pillow and it was bliss. i stayed on the same side for hours and only was on my back briefly as was deciding to wake up to go to the loo at 3.30. i thought hubby was there as needed a cuddle and saw empty space. grr
am bit tired but i can always have a nap later. will chill out a bit. cant be asked to do any cleaning. might go into town again and get a new phone as a treat.hehe

When I was overdue with DS2 I couldnt get hold of Castor Oil anywhere, I dont think places sell it these days due to the dangers of pregnant women taking it, and if they do they certainly wont give it to a pregnant woman. I didnt realise how dangerous it actually was!
