Ah well only a few more weeks of her lol. We have a doppler but after 2 episodes of disappearing heartbeats in hospital I'm reluctant to use it. I like looking at my ctg graphs though I always wonder if peaks are linked to conversations or singing etc.
A few people on Facebook earlier were telling me to start eating pineapple, using epo and one even suggested castor oil!!! Told them I'm not doing any of the old wives tales espesh not castor oil xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

To help bring labour on Hun. Old wives tales such as eat pineapple, eat curry, have sex, long walks etc are supposed to help bring labour on.You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Yeah a gym/yoga ball. You sit/rock/bounce on it .No good for me with my back unfortunately.
Some people say the old wives tales work some say they don't. I'm not in any rush to try them and the lady suggesting castor oil to me on fb got a shock from my response lol.You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Castor oil is actually really dangerous to baby it has a laxative effect and if the baby passes mecOnium in utero they can breath it in and it can damage their lungs.
The balls aren't that bad I dont think. A lot of people use them during labour. I'm limited position wise so no all fours or squatting for me lol.

I don't get to keep my ctg graphs, they tuck them inside a brown envelope in my big hospital file. I always try and crane my neck to get a look at them as they are coming out of the machine, but the MW's don't really like to show you them here. Do you get them to keep in your handheld notes?Cross Stitch Cafe member no.800
