I'm really really lucky in the most nights I can sleep through without bathroom breaks, and although I am going more in the day, it's only every couple of hours- I'm thinking it's because baby is breech so there's no little head pressing on my bladder? I can still cross my legs too!

Hi all,
Not caught up or got access to the computer yet, we are still in hospital having tests done. Nothing serious but worrying and annoying in equall measure at the moment. She has jaundice which the blue incubator thing seems to have brought down her levels but they are now rising again.
Will catch up at some point hopefully. Good luck for all and labour vibes to those who want them.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

Hi everyone, just popped on to post a photo of Harvey, he is now 5 days old & such a good boy. :A
I'm not doing so well atm as things are still up & down at home with my oh so i'm struggling a bit mentally & not up to talking sorry.
Congratulations to anyone who has given birth since I last posted & labour vibes to anyone who needs them.
Take care. Vicki xxI'd rather regret the things I've done than regret the things I haven't done.

Hope all goes ok with the tests Kitten and you get your little lady home soon.
Gorgeous picture BCSSorry you are going through a hard time, hope things improve for you and remember you can always vent your feelings here if you need to.
All of us suffering with the toilet issues seem to be at a similar stage, oh the joys of pregnancy! I envy you not having to get up in the night Milliebob, it's very rare for me to sleep through. Hope baby moves out of breech for you.
You're only a day behind me snowbean, and I've still not got anything. I must be the most relaxed person in the world when it comes to the hospital bag, although DH is starting to push me to buy something now. I'll start grabbing things for the bag soon, but I won't actually pack anything until I'm in labour.Cross Stitch Cafe member no.800 -
BCS congrats again to you - hope things get better with your OH soon.
Re breastfeeding I am planning to do this and was staying very positive about it until I read all the various posts on here about it! Ah well, like we keep saying, everyone is different and what will be will be.
Picked up my swinging crib (ebay bargain - £12.50) yesterday and now have this up in in our room. Got some fitted sheets and crib bumper thrown in for free so going to wash them tomorrow and get it all ready. We also went to toysrus for a few bits and pieces and ended up getting this http://www.toysrus.co.uk/Babies-R-Us/Collections/Ziggy-Zebra-Loving-Hug-Swing(0068327)?searchPosition=0
which I admit is a shed load of money and not very MSE but we fell in love with it ages ago and OH really wanted to get it.
Have just signed up for a fitness training course today - it is in October and depending on when LO makes an appearance I may only have about 5 - 6 weeks from giving birth but I have been waiting for this course for nearly two years and they don;t know when the next ones will be! I emailed them to explain the situation and they are happy for me to attend so no worries there, OH is supportive too so that's good, I;m just concerned about how I'll cope during the day if I do take to breastfeeding! I guess I'll have to take a mountain of breast pads with me! Oh well, I'll worry about it nearer the time I guess!
So much for getting some rest now that I have finished work - I have not stopped all week and have been out most of today as well. Really need to try and get a few sleeps during the day now, can't believe I only have a week-and-a-half to due date!
Hope all are well, hugs to all. x0 -
hello all. hope everyone had a good day.
i was in town all day and am tired. got a driving lesson shortly so i am hoping i will sleep well.;) been quite moody to DH though as he has completely not been in touch and am a bit clingy (which i hate) and so we are both annoying each other.
went and had a hair cut so feel good. also had a cheapy pedicure and am glad someone else trimmed my toe nails as i cant.bought some mittens and socks for baby's bag so felt good.
now after driving will be back and will try watch a film and not think about DH. i feel so annoyed at him and i know i shouldnt.
is it normal at 23 weeks to go to the loo loads? i have been numerous times. my bladder feels like its full but when i go its not as much as i thought. hmmmm will be back after an hour.
Lovely pic of Harvey BCS. he is gorgeous. hope you are ok and you and your oh sort out your problems. i wont get started on my DH!

Kitten, hope all the tests go ok xx
BCS, what a gorgeous boy, sorry you are having problems, like everyones said you can talk on here all you like xx
I also feel like Im constantly bursting for the loo and when I get there its just a trickle!
Katyliz, my dad has epilepsy too, was just worrying as the girl at antenatal doesnt have it, so it seemed to be a pregnancy thing
MMM, thats very similar to the swing I got on ebay. Was wondering what peoples opinions were..... do you think I would need to get them one each? Not really sure if its something they would share as such:j:T Gorgeous twin girls born 1st Nov 2012 :T:j0 -
MMM we were going to get Jakey the same swing set but then my grandparents offered to get us a swing and we got a jungle themed one in the previous Asda event
Cakes I would see how they get on with it first, some babies love swings, some hate them. With you having twins you could find it's a god send to put one girl in it while you tend to the other and then swap over. You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

|Cake/Ikkle We've bought quite a few bits second hand and got other things on really good deals and so we just thought we would splash out on this one thing! I am hoping that baby will take to it - we liked the idea of being able to have baby in it whilst we do other stuff - I don't mean that we leave baby unattended or anything, just mean whilst we wash up or do some cleaning! The lady in the shop said that you sometimes get use out of it until they are about 15 months old so hoping that's a good enough reason to justify the expense! Lol.
Rups I seem to remember having to go and pee loads when I was in the early twenty-week stage. It eased off for a bit and then came back again! Don't think there is any rhyme or reason to it; I know I should be going more loads now cos there is a lot less room at this stage but I am not too bad. There have been nights though where I have had to go about four times in one hour! I don't mind that, what I don't like is the pressure I feel on my back passage which makes me want to go for a poo all the time! Sorry if that's too much info, but it really is a very weird sensation and one that I've been having for a few weeks now!
Feel like my belly has grown AGAIN overnight. I can't complain too much - I feel a bit uncomfy and a bit warm but nothing compared to how some ladies have been feeling by this stage. I am very excited by the thought that baby could be here soon! And, I have to be honest, I am looking forward to getting my body back under my own control - lol!:D0
