ah thanks missmonkeymoo.
theres never too much info here.
its all cool as we are here to share. i bought a long pillow from argos today. not the special shaped one but just long one. hope it helps me as i cant sleep. cost 20 quid.
also as i was walking about, i found some mittens (3 white pairs for 2 pounds) and wee little white socks (3 pairs for 4 pounds) and a little wolly hat with booties. i got so excited. i looked around and ended getting these all in white from next.baby moved when i was having pedicure and i saw my belly move slightly.
was so happy. shame hubby misses al these things.

I am hoping that baby will take to it - we liked the idea of being able to have baby in it whilst we do other stuff - I don't mean that we leave baby unattended or anything, just mean whilst we wash up or do some cleaning! The lady in the shop said that you sometimes get use out of it until they are about 15 months old so hoping that's a good enough reason to justify the expense! Lol.
I totally know where your coming from hun, we've had some real bargains and some 2nd hand stuff for bubs and then in other places gone a bit OTT and spent a bit of extra money. Only reason we went for the Asda swing in the end is because my nan and granddad were also buying the same for my cousin who just had her baby and I don't like to think of them spending a fortune on us.
Swings are supposed to help with colic too apparently. I'm hoping to use our swing just for little bits like you say, sorting through washing etc.had my driving lesson and backtoday i also bought a huge bottle of gaviscon in case i get the heartburn. the milk yest helped.:) now am all alone and dont want to start thinking of hubby.
You can get gaviscon for free on prescription hun. Instead of buying it. I can't use it because it's the devils juice lol and makes me gag. Omeprazole and antacids is my only saviour. You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

I had the zebra bouncer and it is gorgeous MMM. Unfortunately our monkey didn't like the swing we got him or the bouncer
so the one we have it pretty much new, but I have put it away in it's box ready for the next one
hopefully they like it. It is just so soft and gorgeous though, good choice

I always found a bouncy/vibrating chair was easiest to put my kids in when they were babies and I wanted to do things. But the swings look so much more fun, and DH really wants one, so once baby is here I have a feeling he'll go shopping and come home with one
That's good that you had a busy day without your hubby Rups. And hopefully you'll make up when he gets home. Was that the first time you'd seen your belly move properly? I love it when that happens, and the bigger you get the stranger it looks!
I'm getting so clumsy with my bump now. I forget how huge it's getting and crash into things. I managed to get wedged in by the car door earlier, and just now I knocked the pepper mill over, smashing it into tiny pieces, so glass everywhere. If bump gets any bigger I'll be a total disaster zone!Cross Stitch Cafe member no.800 -
thanks katyliz. its pathetic as i should enjoy time off without hubby but like i said hormones etc are making me go crazy not to forget insecure.
i saw it move through my clothes. just as ithought if it, i felt a pulse. it feels nice and i wish hubby gets to see something because when i feel a pulse i call him, he then puts his hand on me for like 2 seconds and gets impatient when he feels nothing lol. i want to see bubs again but no more scans..:( do they listen to the heart beat when you see the doc /midwife for future appointments?
funny you saying about being clumsy with bump. i do that and then i get scared whether i have hurt baby. lol. i try and squeeze out of gaps as well like tables etc but find myself not fitting lol. i saw my friend today after ages and she said bump has grown but i keep thinking really?Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

I think the midwife normally does, if not you could always ask her. Mine doesn't because she is mean lol (probably more to do with the fact I hear it at the consultants and on CTG's though) xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

You won't hurt baby Rups if you're just squeezing through things. All the amniotic fluid cushions them nicely against normal everyday stuff
Your hubby sounds like my kids lol. They always want to feel her move, so I call them, but then they can't be bothered to stay still for more than a couple of seconds and never feel anything. DH puts his head on my bump when I'm sitting down and then he gets the pulses and kicks on his head. That's one of the main ways he manages to feel her, as she isn't much of a mover.
Your midwife IS mean ikkle, mine listens to the heartbeat every time. But I also get to hear it a lot anyway with all my appointments!Cross Stitch Cafe member no.800 -
thats an idea. will tell him to come and put his head on belly. hope he has the patience for it. so funny. he is concentrating on tv or something so his attention is so ltd. then at bed time he is tired. what an old man. lol
hehe thats what my little bro said and he doesnt have kids. he said i was being silly and that there is enough cushioning inside to protect little one.
oh if there is anyone in croydon looking for nail places, there is a nice in the whit gift centre upstairs. less of that chemical smell (depending on what people get done) and she was so quick. my feet look nice lolBecame Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!
