i will have the tablets today and get the liquid tomorrow as havent got out today at all. i suppose any flavour is ok? i am just checking and being silly too. still have a little heart burn.

sam i am sure the school will let you sit and watch. it would be so silly if you had do that at the stage you are!!

sherry try primark. best place for stuff there.

i have booked a hair cut for tomorrow to cheer myself up and then i will go and have those cheap pedicures. cant reach my toenails and they have got so ugly and long. lol. will pop into primark and start buying hosp bag stuff too to cheer myself up! :)

great so just in emergency tonight really, i know i can attack those.;) i will have some milk after dinner and hopefully that should help. i feel slightly bad now because i texted the brother in law to ask whether he can sort his own dinner out and bless him, he texted me suggestions about what we can both have. so we are going to have some mexican stuff which i will make as i prefer to. will make him hoover the house meanwhile. :)

ooohhh why do i miss dh so much? :(

Replying from phone so not as organised as normal!

Cake4brains, you only produce teeny amounts at first but that's all your babies will need.

Zcrat you can express and breastfeed but apparently babies can get confused between bottle teats and breast nipples. I imagine once a week would be fine but there is a chance baby could refuse the bottle? I bought a bargain new medela pump today at the baby show and apparently their 'calma' teats are similar to nipples and should avoid that sort of thing.

LadyM the first book I looked at said that most women with inverted nipples will have them de-invert by after birth, and if not then you can either express milk or use a pump to suck them out or the nipple shield type things, but if it's just a few days you're planning on I'd probably express and feed from a cup or syringe if they haven't popped!

Hi - just popping in - Has anyone bought waterproof sheets for their moses basket and/or cotbed?

Yes - for both, in a bedding set. They look and feel like normal thick blankets, apparently a thin layer of plastic is bonded in the middle.

On the breastfeeding not hurting point, if i've got it right a correctly latched baby shouldn't hurt your nipples but your milk actually flowing can hurt for the first few days/weeks (this from a friend of mine who went on to feed both her girls for c. 6months and is glad she did)

Hmm, not sure whether to keep banging on about BFing (:D) but it can hurt, even with a great latch. Your nips going from being virtually ignored (well, mine were anyway) to having a hungry little mouth suck on them over and over again, day in, day out. It takes a while to get used to that and I doubt there's many women, even those who take to it straight away, who don't report some level of discomfort and pain in the early days. My right boob still gets sore occasionally, even now Freddie's 8 weeks old and latching really well.

i can imagine. i mean sometimes with DH when the focus is on the nips, there are times, when i am like 'get off' or leave them alone. lol. so imagine a little one on them for so many times a day. lol.

so tired now. made some enchilladas for me and brother in law. am utterly stuffed. think all that crying today has drained me out and am so tired. hope i can sleep without DH on the bed. no cuddles tonight or tomorrow.:( ok ok i need to snap out of it but am feeling very needy.
