Got a 2nd hand VGC M&P Cotbed for £48 and a 2nd hand VGC Cotbed changer from M&P for £18 so £66 total for something which would have cost minimum of £245 brand new :)

They are spare for my mums house :)

    I've been Money Tipped!
Hi everyone :) could I join please?

I'm 16+3 today (first baby) and would love to speak to others as I'm the first of my friends to have a baby so feeling a little on my own at the moment.

Yesterday I woke up to some bleeding (red and watery. was only a little and stopped soon after it started). Went to the hospital and got checked over and everything was fine luckily! I also had a little bleeding at around 6 weeks, again all was ok!

Has anyone else had bleeding and gone on to have normal pregnancies? I know a lot of the ladies on this thread are much fuurther along than I am so would like to hear others experiences.

Feeling worried but trying to remain positive :)

Trying to live a good life on little money :T

I had bleeding at 6 weeks b_girl and everything has been fine since in terms of the baby - I'm 36+4 today.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Rups, it's the fb mse pregnancy group for people from this forum. You have to PM mishkanorman or a couple of others (can't remember who the others are off the top of my head), and they'll get you joined.

  • Medela swing breast pump is £90 at tesco, also in club voucher exchange, so think you will get it for half that price. Pity I have already brought mine

  • Does anyone know anything about Keep In Touch days at work? I'm mainly interested to know if they are paid or not? I've been advised that they aren't paid by my work but I've heard that some places do pay for them - is it variable between companies?

My undertstanding is that they should be paid for (as they are work) and you can do up to 10 during your period of MAT leave irrespective of how long you take off. If you do them whilst getting MAT pay or SMP, it won't effect this payment.

    Welcome b_girl.

Well done on the bargains dizsie. That MW sounds useless!

I can't say I ever really carry my notes (apart from appointments). Mine are kept in a box on our storage cubes. If I was going to go away for a weekend or something I'd take them, but I can't see the point when the furthest I usually go is Asda! Having said that I did always carry them with my daughter as the notes from Bedford Hospital were a handy little size that could be tucked in my handbag no problems. Here they are a big A4 monstrosity that is a total pain to take anywhere, with loads of loose pages attempting to fall out!
