Ikkle big hugs hun, that must have been terrifying for you. I don't blame you for wanting answers from your consultant today, I am sure they will want to put your mind at rest.
bellola I am not sure how I have managed it to be honest! I feel ok most of the time but then get tired when I am at home. Think being at work during the day gives me something else to focus on! Still can't quite get my head round the fact that I won't be working for the next six months at least, I keep looking round the office and wondering if i will ever see this place again!0 -
Urgh, I have really bad period pains. I used to get awful pains each month where I would literally just have to lie in bed all day and I feel like that again minus the actual period.
Thank goodness it's cooler today though.
I wonder how LMM and Ferrety are both getting on?0 -
Seems like lots of hugs are needed today: kitten, ikkle, rj, LMM. Hope all of your test results etc. reveal nothing serious.
Had my second cup of raspberry leaf tea today - haven't really felt any differences at all - don't know how BH are meant to feel as I've not had them - wondering if increasing the number of cups to 2 a day will make any difference to that.
No aquanatal class today, so going to try and do a bit more washing and housework today. We're going out to dinner tonight, so looking forward to that, but was relying somewhat on the exercise today to excuse the dessert tonight lol as I've been eating far too many sweet things recently.
Labour vibes to rj and anyone else who needs or wants them.
sexymouse xx
ETA bellola hope the period pains are a sign of early labour for you. x Also, rj did you get your BP tested etc?Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170 -

I don't! But thanks anyway! Lol. I just don't feel ready yet. And my parents are still in France, back tomorrow evening. So I have a lot planned with them over the bank hol, my dads bday party on Sun and a mini baby shower on Mon. Typical that the little monkey will arrive so that it's actually at the baby shower!
Plus I wouldn't dare queue jump, RJH might shoot me!0 -
Nah cos I goin got consultant today anyway. Will be iteresting to see what it is tho.
And us Irish have a bad reputation lol!I don't even have a gun I promise.love you lots like jelly tots0 -
I hope everything is ok/went well LMM.
Kitten and ikkle - I'm keeping my fingers and toes crossed for you both...
rj, ikkle and anyone else who has appointments today, good luck!
I haven't got much planned for today apart from the usual studying. I also need to clean the car as well as we're selling it and someone is coming to see it tomorrow.:jBaby girl born 3rd October 2012:j0 -
 been off this thread for a few days and all hell has broken loose.
Hope everything is okay LMM. At least you are getting the help you need, even if it isn't going the way you expected it.
Sorry to hear of your trauma Ikkle. Very scary few hours for you.
Kitten sorry you are so worried, it is understandable under the circumstances, and it is good that you have somewhere to vent. Sometimes I think crying helps, doesn't change anything, but maybe helps to relieve a bit of tension and frustration temporarily.
I was a bit confuzzled over the c-section rules as well, I was under the impression that you could ask for one if you wanted it. I have been offered one because DS was one, I wouldn't recommend it though tbh. Not that I can compare it to a vaginal birth, but it's a pretty unpleasant experience overall and not the pain free get out clause it is sometimes presented as (too posh to push and all that).
Do any of you have support pillows? I need something to support me in bed at night and was wondering if anyone could recommend one. I can't put a pillow between my legs, opening my knees sets my SPD off. I saw those huge ones but DH is a light sleeper, I can't imagine he would be best pleased if I dragged one of those into bed with me :rotfl:I have had many Light Bulb Moments. The trouble is someone keeps turning the bulb off

Taadaa, In this weather I have been using the duvet between my legs under bump. It means because OH isn't using the duvet due to the heat I can use as much as I need or as little as my legs can take.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

I've been doing the same as kitten Taadaa. I tried with cushions etc but they were just that little bit too big and uncomfortable.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170
