    Hello everyone!!
Seems I'm jumping the queue a bit!
Scan went well. Baby is 3.3kgs which I think is over 7lbs at 36+5. However went onto consultant appt and bp was 180/120 thru repeated a few times and got sent to main hospital. Also had protein +++ in urine and the mild headaches which I thought were due to the heat mean they've said I've pre eclampsia. I felt ok this morning!
Now in delivery suite. Got two needles in my arms. Two infusions going for bp which has come down in the last hour to 130/82 :-) got the pleasure of a urinary catheter too
They're talking about inducing or c section tonight. Baby appears happy in there though. Really didn't expect this this morning!

For everyone on Facebook we've not told many ppl that I'm here so I'll prob post on our group for now but not on my page. Just too many texts etc so keeping quiet lol. Will keep you informed as best I can but of course I'm here with no phone charger and I never got around to packing that hospital bag!!

Haven't read back properly but hope everyone is ok and sending the boldies huge labour vibes xxx

P.s. these awful ppl won't let me eat and drink :-( apart from that the care has been brill xx

eeeeeeeeeeeee baby time :j how exciting, hope you get some rest tonight.

Look forward to your update in the morning :D

Thanks I know it can't be the same thing because there is just one it is just so similar and the advise last time was to wait and see, but during the waiting things went down hill despite multiple hospital visits saying things were feeling wrong.

We are currently on a wait and see thing and I am just paranoid that during this wait time something might happen again. Think OH is going to talk to my midwife tomorrow to see if there is anything else we can do, if we should be looking out for anything specific etc.

    Currently the possibilities are:
Diabetes - had the GTT today to rule it out (so far 4 negative tests)
[STRIKE]TTTS[/STRIKE] - twin problem and we have one this time but have had this previously which was how we lost the boys.
A blockage in food pipe - Unknown, but no knots or anything seen on scan, our consultant seemed to lean towards this and a more detailed scan is to be done next week when the other results are back.
Down's syndrome or Edwards syndrome - Downs test came back at 1:6,500 so unlikely but still possible
Infection such as toxoplasmosis or parvovirus - still waiting on parvovirus but toxoplasmosis is negative
Just a big baby and everything is a coincidence - not sure I can rely on this right now.

Sorry to spill but haven't told family because I haven't got the answers to all the questions they will ask and will then have to put them up as they insist on coming to support me which will just make things worse.

Kitten I can't even imagine how hard it must be when you have had a previous loss. I wish they could just keep u in and monitor and give u answers here and now. Seems silly to make u wait when they know your history. Giant cuddkes

Hugs Kitten. Hope you've managed to stop crying, please try to stay as positive as you can. Good luck for the remaining test results, I hope they come back quickly.

Kitten, like the others have said don't ever apologise for venting on here, we're all here to support each other. I don't have anything more helpful to add, but I'll be thinking of you. In the meantime can you call your midwife to talk over your concerns, see if she can get things speeded up a bit with your history?

LMM, good luck, glad they've caught the pre-eclampsia and looking forward to some baby news shortly, exciting!

here's the best place to spill, I quickly found i was offering more support than i was accepting in real life - now is the time for you to be taking and if that means shutting out for a little while and thinking of YOUR needs then so be it !

Where did the above list of possible causes come from ?

from my experience of Edwards I would think you could discount that too - they tend to have quite prominent physical markers that would have been picked up earlier.

It may not help much but I've taken comfort from the fact the hospital are bench resting us and taking the wait and see approach, if they thought for a second that they were looking at something serious - especially with your loss - you would have been in and monitored i'm sure,

big hugs, here if you need us :A
