    Hello,

we've finally finished the nursery stickers:

The first two are on the same wall but the room is too small for me to get far enough away to fit them on one picture.

Oh now they are proper cute as !!

    Evening ladies :)

Lovely nursery stickers Emsbet! We're going to decorate the baby's room next month, but we haven't chosen any stickers yet, going to wait until we get the furniture in September and see how much wall space is left as it's a tiny room.

This afternoon I saw my belly move for the first time, it was so weird! Beanie gave me a hard kick and it was like a plate of jelly near a speaker! Happened twice in a row, when DH was out of the room, typical!

Hope everyone's having a nice weekend, labour vibes to the boldies!

Does anyone know if you can have dextrose tablets/sweets whatever they are called when your pregnant? My energy levels are seriously struggling although 2-3 hours sleep a night probably isn't helping x

When I was seen at the day assessment unit this week the midwife told me to start taking these or mints just due to the fact that I have no appetite and these would be good for both baby and me.

Well I've not been on here for about a week and its taken me so long to catch up - I haven't even read the last thread.

Congrats fluff your little boy is gorgeous. Scary to think I will have one of those little people soon

Well I had my first melt down last Saturday which I think is good going seeing as I made it to 35 + weeks without one. Think it didn't help that I found out the day before it that my mw had asked the GP for a prescription for me after having had some test results back (which she told me she wouldn't get in the first place) but failed to inform me so it had been sat there for 3 weeks whilst I had been suffering with an infection! I was not happ I can tell you. Then on Monday baby girl hadn't been moving around much so off I went to day assessment - everything fine there but was told off for being too laid back as my hospital bag wasn't packed at 36 weeks :o. Saw midwife on Wednesday and was told that baby girl may not wait for her due date after having looked at my readout from the day unit cue mild panic from DH. Any how been having mad branston pickles (Braxton hicks) as DH likes to call them to the point that I'm thinking dear god what will real labour feel like
To top it all off my pelvis has finally given in and I am now on crutches and in extreme pain. But hey at the end of it I will have something to show for it.

Enough of my moaning. Has anyone signed up to the tesco baby club? I got a booklet through from them and I didn't realise that in the front page there is a pull out type thing with a voucher for free huggies nappies. Well I got the full price of the nappies taken off at the checkout despite the fact that they were on offer. Also in the vouchers there is a £1 of Johnsons nappy cream which is currently reduced to £1. No idea if its any good.

Cant remember who was talking about the HV but just to reiterate I met with mine the other week and she basically told me that we dont have to accept the service. She came to my home and I actually cancelled her first visit as it wasn't convenient for me ( think someone was told they couldn't cancel etc).

Ok sorry for the massive post. Hope everyone is well and having a good weekend.

    Hi all

Well, the sweep wasn't nearly as bad as I had imagined, midwife was lovely and explained what she would be doing before and throughout. It wasn't as successful as we had hoped as I am only partially effaced so she tried her best but as I'm posting now still no baby!!:( Getting quite sick of the phone calls and texts asking if he/she is here yet - seriousy I wouldn't keep it a secret!! :p

Thank you for the accupressure points info, will be trying these! Booked in for an induction on Wednesday, just hope it starts before then.

Emsbet the nursery looks fab!! I love those stickers.

Congratulations Fluff - Freddie is absolutely grogeous!
