Ahh - your nursery is so cute emsbet - makes me want to do more to ours. Is the chest of drawers you have an ikea one? I think you mentioned that they were sturdy when I was asking before. We must order the jungle fun stickers to go around our cot now it's up. I'm itching to get all of the bedding etc washed and put up, but it's far too early as it'll get dusty and need washing again.Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.I married Moon 8/4/2011, baby boy born 26/9/2012, Angel Baby Poppy born 8/11/15, Rainbow baby boy born 11/2/20170

Thanks
it looks more like a nursery now. Yes it is an Ikea one and it is really sturdy and made of solid wood.

I'm jealous of your nursery emsbet, it's lovely. They are the owl stickers that I would love. I showed them to my daughter, and she told me they are far too babyish, and she does have a point. I guess that is the downside of having an 8 year old share with a baby, it's hard to go for a theme that will work for both.Cross Stitch Cafe member no.800

Love the nursery Emsbet. I feel sad that I've run out of things to do in bubs room.
We are getting a chest of drawers from ikea too when I can get my granddad to take me and OH to come with me to push me round cos I can't walk the whole way round the store.
SM - I was saying the other day I wanted to put the bedding on but thought it might be too early, Kitten said to put it on to see it then take it off to fulfill my urge lol.
Does anyone know if you can have dextrose tablets/sweets whatever they are called when your pregnant? My energy levels are seriously struggling although 2-3 hours sleep a night probably isn't helping xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

O-M-Gee Emsbet, that looks amazing! Love it! What a lucky little boy. We are planning to get some stickers from Next as our theme is teddy bears. They have been out of stock for ages and have just put new ones on, a slightly different set so hopefully they will still look ok with the other bits we bought. OH has been instructed to order them when he finishes work next week.0

Finally bought a play gym. And got a few other dangly toys for the pram/car seat/moses basket as well. That should be enough to keep him stimulated anyway.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

emsbet - wow your nursery is amazing. We were going to put stickers on too but haven't done it yet. I guess the baby will be too small to appreciate them anyway so have another few months to put them up.
re gyms - don't know about other ones but Tiny Love gyms can be folded in half without disassembling them. You clip two edges together and it takes hardly any space.
jedi - I agree about unnecessary inductions although don't really treat a sweep as one. I read your cervix needs to be favourable for the sweep to work and then it won't work every time so it's not like your body is forced to start labour. I may be wrong of course but thought sweep at 40wks wouldn't do any harm but would never agree to an induction this early.0 -
This one moneypenny. Looks pretty good, same size as cotbed we have and even better - it was free! And free p&p!

we got 2 waterproof mattress protectors - after all we'll need to wash one at some point and I can't imagine not having a protector on. Ours look like normal sheets but the underlay is waterproof so in case of an accident they will still be wet but the mattress underneath won't. hope this makes sense?0
