hi
Sorry i havent been on for a few weeks, just manic here. Congrats to all that have had their babies and fingers crossed for all those who are about to.
Today i have this big pow wow at the hospital. Due to being high risk with a rare blood condition, the anaethetists, consultants, midwives and haematologist are getting together with my husband and i to discuss and arrange my birthplan. i'm 34 weeks today and the preferred option for most of them is a c-section at 37 week but my obstertrician wants me to be induced at 39 weeks and try a natural labour. i'm petrified as 37 weeks is 3 weeks away and this is my first baby ive carried this far and don't know what option will be best.
I'm still at work which is shattering and i'm all so very confused.Mummy's little miracle born 14th September 20120 -
LMM - tis a small world isnt it! i love ulverston, much nicer than barrow. i used to work in the hospital too, in social work.
kitten pie - i feel your pain. just been to good old m&s for some more pants, i feel like i have to change them several times a day!
well today i have my 6 month old nephew for the day, as well as my own older two. walked the whole lot to m&s for said pants, and got some very sympathetic looks with an 8yr old, a 4 yr old, one in a pram and a bump!!!!0 -

I had a link somewhere to the top 300 - http://www.ons.gov.uk/ons/publications/re-reference-tables.html?edition=tcm%3A77-266770 has the excel files on - page 6 is I think the full one with all the glorious misspellings etc... Erin's running in number 40ish - seem to have met dozens since we named her - but her name wasn't on our shortlist at all, we just happened to have a random conversation one morning where we mentioned we liked it - and she decided to kick me into labour that same evening... she was going to be an Anna or an Imogen. I just wanted something with a conventional spelling (I've got the less common variant of a name and it's CONSTANTLY spelt wrong) that didn't have connotations of nightmare kids I'd taught with that name... I have a wide range of grey hairs directly attributable to various Thomases for instance.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -
Oh, dizzi, you're right! I downloaded those files and didn't spot them lurking at the back
we're after something easy too (but not too common...), our kid is going to have to spell its surname continually anyway (I don't even pronounce it anymore when someone asks - unless it's for introductions or something - I just start spelling it) You should hear what the computer generated phone calls do to it as well!

This is fun - my name comes in at below 1050th on the list, and hubby's at below 1250th!0

Common spelling of mine is like 140ish (it's become much more popular since I was a baby)... MY spelling variant is like 1100.Little miracle born April 2012, 33 weeks gestation and a little toughie!0 -
