Thanks for doing the list savage

((hugs)) for those that can't sleep. I've had another crap night too, woke up every hour. I'm now really hungry. I went to the flower show yesterday which was good but I definitely walked about too much in the heat. My hands and feet have been even more giant than usual and my back and pelvis really sore.

A quick question for those of you who have been suffering from swollen feet for a while like me. Do you find that the tops of your feet are tender to touch? Mine when I get DH to rub them feel like they are really bruised. I guess it's from the constant pressure from the fluid pressing on the bones and tendons?

Anyway I'm off to the spa this morning for some relaxation and hen do silliness. I might lurk and read if I have some quiet time but probably won't post until tomorrow afternoon/evening.

Have a fab weekend all, take care in this heat and labour vibes for everyone who needs them

Yeah I'm hanging around in here and the 12 weeks one - despite being only about 5 weeks gone... I figure since it's only 4 months since I went through what I GOT of the 3rd trimester - I'm allowed to!

I eventually got to sleep about three. Oh is working today about an hour away which is ok but another full day with dd in heat. It's just too warm for me. I don't cope well. At least he off tomorrow and Tuesday tho Sunday night and Monday are his interview which we have discussed and think he might go to now. I don't want him to be penalised for not going and what if the wee man still isn't here and I go into labour on the day they arrange to come here.

Anyway fingers crossed he gets it.

Nap time now until dd starts hassling me lol.

Yeah Emsbet my feet are the same. And they just won't go down now. Elevating them does nothing. They look like elephants feets with fat little sausages sticking out. I used to love my feet!

I have got up early so OH can sleep. He has said that the last few nights my snoring has been so bad that he's started off sleeping on the sofa but was just too uncomfortable so had to come to bed and then he gets no sleep! I feel really bad. Does anyone have any tips to combat snoring?!

With regards to the threads. I don't mind who posts here. This time round I have been posting on and off since the very early stages of my pregnancy, partly because there were lots of ladies on here who I knew from being pregnant the previous two times and partly because I was trying to remain positive and the <12 thread was a bit gittery for me. I didn't post on the 12-24 thread as it held bad memories for me. It had also become very quiet.

I personally don't have any objection to anyone posting, and we can't stop anyone as it is an open, public forum, and I know that I personally found it helpful to have people who'd been through my stage of preganncy to ask questions of. I don't mind answering the same questions over and over for people if it helps them out. It is just like the TTC thread where newbies would join and ask the same questions.

Just my opinion of course

Hi all,

Havent been on properly for a few days, congrats to all the new babies, cant believe i'm 44 on the list now:j

I went back to the doctors on Thursday and i'm been signed off for another 2 weeks. I'm really nervous about going on medication, i know the risks are small but i'm just worried.

OH and DD were suppose to come back from Cyrpus last night i was picking them up at 1.45am, found out at 9pm that the flight was delay so i couldn't really sleep. Then about midnight found out it had been cancelled altogether till today and will be due in a 12.30am so another late night. Im really missing DD now, she will be happy as they got put up in the Hilton, so have a nice hotel for the night.

Morning all!

Congratulations MrsExcited - well done you for coming on here so soon after giving birth too!

emsbet my feet hurt on the top too when they swell. Moon tried to rub them the other night to see if it would help, but it actually hurt more when he pressed the tops of them. They take hours to go down even a little bit bellola and usually don't go down completely until I've slept overnight. Midwife said it's all par for the course though as my blood pressure isn't high and no protein in my urine, so nothing to worry about. She just said drink lots of water and keep my feet elevated. My feet are normally swollen after only an hour or two of getting up.

Rebekah, you need to PM the ladies on the bottom of "the list" to join the fb group.

Suppose I'd better go and get dressed as was out most of the day yesterday so didn't really make the most of the good weather to dry washing in, and realised when I went to the clean washing basket that I'd not put away, that I didn't have any maternity leggings etc washed, so had to wear dirty ones with a clean top.:o
