I too wish this hot weather would go. It is the second summer in a row that I have been heavily pregnant and just want to sit in the garden with a big glass of Pimms but I don't have a garden and can't drink Pimms. Next year maybe
Unless I do something stupid but don't think my body would handle another pregnancy not until it has had a chance to heal. :cool:Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

Bless you Kitten. I know what you mean. That said, I find ginger beer with ice makes up for not being able to drink alcohol. I'm slightly obsessed by it. Or I'll have cranberry juice in a wine glass to make myself think I'm being naughty. Ha ha.Reduction in daily mortgage interest since October 23 (new mortgage) - £2.36 July 25

That is exactly what I have been doing have a wine glass with cranberry juice but do have to down gaviscon before hand.
When I go to the pub (which is rarely these days) I have the non-alcoholic crabbies ginger beer which makes me feel better. It tastes the same as the alcoholic one and because I usually drink that it meant people didn't notice I wasn't drinking.Overdraft = £1000 Emergency fund = £2500

Its been such a long day. Tthe midwife found 1heartbeat really easily but wasn't sure if she was hearing the 2nd heartbeat or the placenta. Said if I wanted to put my mind at rest she could refer me to assessment unit at hospital for a scan. she made the appointment for a couple hours later and 2midwives listened to the heartbeats at the same time so they knew they were definitely separate heartbeats. They sounded fine but they wanted me to have a scan as well to check the fluid etc which I had to go back for 3hours later.
Had the scan, all looked good, babies have moved position slightly so not sure if that's why I'm not feeling as much. Everything looked absolutely fine and they were wriggling slightly, although I still couldn't feel them. So I'm extremely relieved!
Got to go back next week and see the consultant. I'm feeling very sore and bruised at the minute though, having been poked and prodded all day! Just glad all is ok though
Hope everyones ok xx:j:T Gorgeous twin girls born 1st Nov 2012 :T:j0 -

Earlier this year he had to work in plymouth and we had an emergency at home. The hospital phoned him in the morning and told him he had to get home asap as our 8 year old son was critical in intensive care and he never got to the hospital until after 11 at night. Thankfully son is back to 100% health but it may explain even slightly why I am not keen on him going.
Doh, I didn't spot that you were in Scotland. Yes, I wouldn't be happy, especially with what happened to your son. Glad he's ok now though.
Hope you manage to get the trip changed."Good financial planning is about not spending money on things that add no value to your life in order to have more money for the things that do". Eoin McGee0 -
