Managed fine with jut wedge shape in first pregnancy. This time I used my dream genii around four to six months and nothing since. Perhaps to get better value get one thy doubles as a breast feeding aid.

ladies a quick two questiosn regarding holidays...is it ok to swim in the sea?

also i love getting a tan but i suppose i have to stay out of the sun no?

As far as I'm aware there shouldn't be any problem about swimming in the sea Rups as long as you make sure that you are swimming in safe areas (no currents etc), but in terms of sunbathing, you will probably find that your skin burns more easily or is more sensitive to heat now you're pregnant, so you may need to up your sunblock from what you normally use, and make sure you stay out of the sun during the hottest part of the day to avoid heat-stroke. You are also more likely to get sun spots or have increased pigmentation due to the increased levels of malanine in the skin.

hmm thanks. at the mo, MIL said Italy is roasting and when in water, there are a few currents. just might have to have a quick dip and out. looove swimming but i would rather stay cool and safe. the heat here had got to me anyway. :0) thanks for that

You can always sit in the shallow part of the sea to cool down Rups. Wear a hat to shade your face and neck - they're the parts of me that always burn the most, and if you burn the back of your neck, this affects your temperature control (something to do with the area of the brain there being responsible for this function).

yes have bought a hat (on sale at new look) so taking that and also got a mini size bottle of sun screen to take in hand luggage. i am sure mil has everything there but just in case. i do tan very easily so have to be careful. am worried that will be eating loads and drinking more water. lol
