We have the mam bottles and steriliser on the recommendation of others. The bottles are actually self sterilising so I you need one quick you can just bung that one in the microwave on its own. I got the starter set on offer in Argos and the steriliser in one of babies r us's 20% off events.

we also have the MAM bottles, and we're just going to buy a basic cold water steriliser for the breast pump parts, as we can do the bottles individually in the microwave, and our microwave is tiny so I don't think any of the sterilisers I've seen would fit! Not planning to use bottles/pump that often, only if I need to express for something in particular.

I'm absolutely knackered today, seriously considered ringing in sick because I could barely lift my head off the pillow :o Going to see how I am at the weekend, and I might ask my boss if I can start working at home one day a week until I leave. I have 1 day holiday a week booked from 21st September until I leave, so I could only have to go into the office 3 days a week from then if she agrees :) I have loads of reports to write and other paperwork things to do before I go, so I have plenty I can do at home in that time - it's a bit tricky to take the lab part of my job home ;) :rotfl:

I went for the full avent kit this time as I didn't get on well with the tippee breast pump last time and if I struggle with feeding again I want to try and express for a while. Heading back o work hopefully in less that two months do want to build up a wee supply of milk in freezer too before I go back.
love you lots like jelly tots :o

Midwife just called, she's coming Saturday instead of Thursday now so feel less pressure to get the house perfect. Calm has again descended on the twinklie household.

Twinklie, is that a bbd in your profile pic?

There are so many products to choose from it's confusing, I've been given a microwave steriliser by my SIL, it's either an avent or tt one. We have been given loads baby things, it's only the expensive items we have to buy.

Anyone else thinking of a baby hammock instead of a cot?

We're going for a babybay so hopefully less getting out of bed required, but a friend of mine has a hammock. Then a full size cot for later on (which has been given to us).

Do you mean DDB? If so yes. She's my little angel. She's much bigger now though obviously, that pic was taken over 2 years ago. She's a sloppy puppy, but it's going to be a very good big sister to our little man. She's already helping me out. She comes when I call her and helps pull me up off the sofa. :D

Thanks Rups you have no idea how much calmer I feel. Ha ha.
