Oh god what a carp day. Took car to garage. Window wipers broke. Thought would be electrical but no need new motor. They need to find one second hand to make it affordable so might take a week to fix. Which means me and four year old have no transport until its fixed. Im not able to walk far ATM cos I so uncomfortable and dd has mobility problems so ah can only walk short distances. Never mind the fact that it's gonna cost me about £140 that I don't have. I jut spet the morning sorting out finances to be able to pay rent this month. Ita ridiculous I don't know how people are meant to cope with no income. I hate the benefits system in this country. I worked hard since I was 16 and finally need a bit of help and get fck all. Rant over. Very tired ad stressed right now. No car also means no getting mum from airport when I do go into labour and £16 return taxi if I need to go to hospital.
Have the same problem with mine, was quoted £135+VAT and then when I went to book in they upped it to £175+VAT with no explanation so have sent it to our family mechanic with my mother as I know he won't rip me off.
Just annoying, got a taxi too and from the hospital today which was £12 in total so not too bad but more than it would have cost to drive. Just hope he can fix it quickly because being un able to walk further than the end of the road means I am now completely house bound until it is back.
My point RJH was I know how you feel and big hugs for you.

Rups how can you not be tempted to look! It would be driving me mad! In fact it is, I'm dying to know what you're having now! I got my OH to leave the room when the sonographer told me the sex, and wrote it down for him to look at if he wanted to. He lasted about a hour!!
Rjh I know exactly how you feel worrying about the finances, we can barely get through the month just us with both full time salaries, I haven't a clue what we will do when I'm only getting SMP.
I read Gina Fords book at the weekend, and I'm having a major panic now over how much I still need and how hard this baby malarkey is going to be, I've only really thought about pregnancy an labour so far, forgot about what happens after!
Also I really really want to breast feed, however I have breast implants and wondered if anyone has any experience in this area?Happiness can be found in even the darkest of places, if one only remembers to turn on the light - Albus Dumbledore

Glad tie scan went well Rups!!!
Ikkle I know noone local. The garage are pretty honest. They charging for the second hand motor direct from
Scrapyard plus their petrol to get there etc and two hours labour. They are honest guys. Unfortunately I know noone here who could do it for me. I'm very annoyed. I only bought the damn thing cos of a Uni placement which I was grr about I the first place and I pretty much had to buy the first car icouldfind in my budget. I normally quite good at buying cars.
I hae now paid out what I paid for it in repairs. Bank account is maxed out with rent. Oh is pretty much the same. Even when it's fixed cant afford to put petrol in it to go anywhere. Bank won't extend overdraft cos I have no income. We have £1200 set aside for deposit and first moths rent when we move next month so we can't dip into that.not sure what my options are. His icone is too low for car finance and I won't get anything cos of no income.

millie i know i thought i would go mad and rip it up before i even got home, but have stayed calm. i know Dh wil def not look at it as he is stuck in his ways and i am shocked at myself that i havent had a quick peek. i really am.
rjh my friend does some mystery shopping to get extra cash and i have thought of doing it too to set some money aside. have a look on the MSE site as there are loads of things to do to earn cash. we have cleared our books out and are going to book them on ebay. any money we get we can go to car boot sales and see what we get. its hard. hugs honey.xxx
the couple i met at the weekend were from Aus, and they said reading all sorts of books made them go mad so the woman had heard of this one in Aus called 'save our sleep' and she said it did wonders for them, esp after birth and sorting out their routines.Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

We have gutted the house everything that can be ebayed has been. The same for local Facebook selling sites. This has kept me afloat until now. I will be fine once I start working earning a minimum of £20-25 an hour so this month or two is so frustrating. Especially
Since I will need a car when I start working as I'll be travelling between several places of work.love you lots like jelly tots0
