Hey everyone, hope everyone is well. How did I get to number 9??

This is going way too quickly now!

Havent been on much recently, still trying to cram in as much uni work as possible (although I keep getting distracted way to oeasily).

Saw MW on Thursday and baby 2/5 engaged from 4/5 engaged the week before. Have been contracting/ BHing on and off for 2 weeks (thought all was happening Tuesday at 3am but all died down again) and felt a bit like I was getting an upset tummy earlier in the week which is apparently a good sign.

If I get to Wednesday I have a sweep booked with the consultant. I just hope nothing happens today as its my birthday and I've got people coming over for a chinese later and I really don't want to cancel as it is my last birthday in my twenties!

If anyone is approaching the end of their pregnancy, or just loves a bargain, fashion union have a mental sale on at the moment, I got 4 dresses the other day for £17 total and they are gorgeous. Just hoping it doesn't take too long to get back into them!

Will go and read back now, hope everyone is good and hugs to anyone that needs them xx

Oops, I appear to have spoken up the BHs, kicking in again now!

Nice to see you posting again Gemma. Hope the BH ease up for you.

Well I'm back from the shops with the wall stickers and realised I can't put them up until Moon is home as the cot needs to move. Roll on the next 2.5 hours.

Have done the food shop so need to do a mealplan for the week now. Need to include lots of salad as I realised I've got quite a bit of lettuce to use as I forgot I bought one the other day and bought another one today.
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

We are due date buddies :) I'm so jealous of your sweep. I have to wait till Friday and even then if it's the same dozy midwife I think I'm gonna have a fight on my hands lol. My baby bag was packed for ages too. Mines only just finished :)

  • I got my OH to take down the bags of baby clothes of DDs which I had stored in the attic to see if any of it is suitable for a boy. Quite a lot will be fine, baby grows, vests, some jackets, lots of hooded towels and Winnie the Pooh stuff which are in neutral colours. I put them on a hot wash and they've come out lovely :D. Going to return some of the vests etc I bought from Asda as I think I'll have too many. I can't stop looking at them hanging out on the line. :o

Hi ladies, I have internet again! Woop woop!
As for care, I've only seen the same midwife more than once, once. I've had a different one everytime. I've also seen 4 different consultants. However, now I'm in Wales I've seen nobody yet. I have my first appointment with the midwife on Monday (35 weeks, so a week late). Then should go to see a hospital consultant at 36 weeks, we shall see if that happens. Going to ask on Monday about how to sort this one out.

I've had green notes up until now, but seemingly am now going to get some yellow ones. Interesting. It's quite weird that I'm looking forward to seeing the midwife. LOL.

As for blood pressure I've always had low blood pressure, but when I registered at the doctors it was 130/81. It's been 120/80 for a while. It's nothing to worry too much about, it's all down to the increase in blood volume etc.

Started baby school - very weird midwife doing it, but she did make me laugh. It turns out DH and I are nothing more than children because we giggled our way through most of it. Ha ha.
