I only do cross stitching and scrapbooking now. I used to be able to knit years ago, but I couldn't remember how when I tried again
I got a sewing machine so that I could learn to sew, but I don't feel brave enough to make any baby bits! I'm better at hand sewing. I just joined the facebook group, and had a quick look for the first time a couple of hours ago. I can't believe the amount of lovely things you're all making! I'm going to have a proper look later, but you're all far more creative than me.

I am frustrated. Was the fourth different midwife I have seen. She didn't even know how to get me prescription for iron which she said I needed badly grrr. She said come back in two weeks. I asked her earliest for sweep se said 39 weeks of baby engaged. I said about having pains she ignored me.
I said do I not need to be seen before two weeks to check amniotic fluid level if he still measuring so big. She said no. That was it. I said will the doc phone me when prescription ready she said maybe. She was just uselesslove you lots like jelly tots0 -
Sorry you had a crap appointment RJH, she does sound pretty useless, Did you manage to get an appointment in a week rather than a fortnight? You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

rjh - That must be so annoying, she sounds useless. I've been lucky to only see the one midwife for every appointment. When I lived in Wales for my last pregnancy I never saw the same MW twice, it must just be a different system there, but I don't think its a great way of doing things. Will you be seeing someone else next time?Cross Stitch Cafe member no.800

Yeah I just ignored her and booked for next Friday rather than when I forty plus two. Hopefully be a different midwife next time. Or I
Might kill her lol. Hopefully get a sweep next week f things looking more favourable head wise.
I was just so frustrated cos I have been having pains and wanted checked and she was just so dismissive. Grrlove you lots like jelly tots0 -
i have seen two different midwives too and she said i might see whoever is on duty next. so much for trying to familiarise with one midwife for comfort or they get to know you.. sighBecame Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

Also i've seen the same midwife for my appointments, and i've said i will be a case study for a student midwife, so she will attend all my pre and post natal appointments and also the birth. It will be nice to have a familiar face when i go into labour.Mummy to Isabella - March 2008 and Daisie - September 2012:A - November 2011 (mc)0

snowyz - don't worry about your weight either way. I'm still glad I haven't checked mine, everybody on here seems shocked one way or the other once they know!Cross Stitch Cafe member no.800
