  • Hi from sunny Norfolk!

We bought things after the twelve week scan, but didn't go mad until after 20 weeks. We have a good supply of various brands of nappies and wipes and seem to have shares in johnsons lol

Just started another jigsaw and have just made myself pancakes, yum yum

Well it's done. With the exception of the kitchen where there is a stack of dishes, the whole flat is clean top to bottom and all relevant baby stuff arranged in position ready for the wee man. After two days of rearranging and cleaning I'm officially pooped. God midwife tomorrow. Hoping she will chec me
See if cervix is thinking bout getting ready. :)
love you lots like jelly tots :o

katyliz i know! it will be hard and like you said i want to start buying practical stuff like those little body suits and can keep them neutral! this will be a BIG test for me if i find out. i will really not tell anyone otherwise if one person knows then that is it!!! that includes my mum. so if i do end up buying stuff, i will hide it. i have been good at hiding stuff i buy frfom DH hehe.. ;) i have some places to hide stuff where i know he wont go as he never has time, even though he is nosey. :)

we just went to our local cafe and i had a fry up. oops

KatyLiz its the other way round here, loads for girls nothing for boys hardly.

same here, I think it's just sods law. Whatever you want you can only get the other!

I've stocked up on lots in the sales, Sainsburys had some nice baby bits half price in the sale the other day. It's taken a while to convince hubby that spending ££ on baby clothes now will save ££££ later but he's on board now. I've been buying newborn to 12 months but can't imagine the little thing kicking me at the moment ever being big enough to fit in some of it!

Its strange isn't it Colli I look at them and I'm like these look hugeeeee. Exciting though.

My family are all taking bets as to when I give birth as none of them think I will go full term. x
You never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

Lol Rups, lucky you've had all that practice at hiding shopping!

The mentions of pancakes and fry ups are making me really hungry. I might have to treat myself to something yummy in a minute :D

rjh - hope baby arrives for you soon :) You are at that totally ready stage that I'm dreading. Once I get ready I'll be so bored waiting for baby to arrive!

ikkle my family are the opposite - they are certain baby will be late. And I agree, so I'm desperate for a due date induction again.

katyliz it because i dont want to be told off for buying stuff and DH tells me off. so i buy new dresses etc, hide them and when i wear one, he does notice and ask 'is that new' and i just say no. lol. yeah i have some places to hide baby stuff. if he gets time away from his phone or laptop he could go fishing but i doubt he will so i think i am safe. its just telling people i am worried about. i will have to really shut my mouth. i would be scared of putting it here too in case he has a nose around the forum. lol

rjh not long now. :) yesterday the midwife said at one stage every woman just wants their baby out. lol

its not the end of the world if you dont find out Rups - in fact it really does make the moment of birth very special. i didnt find out with DS1 and to have hubby tell me we had a little boy was just magic, a moment we really both never forget. we know we are having a little boy this time because soon as she put the scanner on me, he was legs akimbo with his little willy right there!!!
