my nieces have just been and it was so nice to see them. they keep growing up so fast. :( i miss them.

sarara we booked the woodlands one for 17th of novemeber and as its the whole day one, the woman left me a message saying that we dont need to attend the labour only one and on that day to bring a dolly, a blanket and something else. have forgotten.

i asked the mw when saw her at 16 weeks regarding travel and she said its fine and to check with the airline, so like you, we are flying with easyjet and they seem happy. so i dont thin ki need a note too. we are also going for a cheapy holiday before baby gets here as my inlaws have a villa in italy. shame no pool but the beach isnt far, but to be honest i dont fancy going on the beach and sitting there all day esp as it is always so packed. sigh

hehe i know but things like wipes etc, nothing is started. just started making lists and stuff. when my brothers were here little while ago, i told them my scan was on monday and then dH said that it is where 'WE' wont find out what we are having. that really pis-ed me off and now i am going to make sure i find out. i mean why cant he just respect that i want to find out? i hate waiting for surprises. i mean if he told me today to pack my bag and meet him at the airport, i would love it, but this will really kill me lol

Yeah but don't worry about not having anything bought yet. If you have your scan then buy a pack of wipes a week thats 20 packs of wipes by time bubs is born.

DH seems very chilled out. i mean today he asked me how i am finding his brother being here. i said fine, but i hope these two both realise it cant be forever. come next month, i am putting my foot down! we need carpet and start thinking of baby furniture soon.

Rups I didn't really start buying until after the anomaly scan (we bought the pram and car seat just before because it was on sale) so don't worry.

I would say don't go ott on the nappies and wipes as you will find some aren't suitable for your baby. Some babies react to different wipes and also different nappies suit different sexes/sizes/shapes of babies better so you may find you are stuck with lots that you can't use. I know of a few people who went crazy stocking up on the huggies using the vouchers only to find they leak on their babies.
I have got a pack of wipes when I've seen them on offer. I think I have about 8/10 packs most of them different brands so I can try out which is best. Nappies I have 2 packs of pampers and one of huggies.

    xx

I seem to have bloods more than normal, I just go with whatever they ask at the time. My midwife takes all my bloods except the GTT ones.

I've still only got the tommee tippee bottles starter start and the travel system. I only bought those because of the money off offer at toys r us the other week. I'm almost regretting it now though as I've got 10 weeks + left to trip over the huge pushchair box! Oh, and the boot sale clothes.

I will buy a couple of big packs of wipes and a couple of boxes of nappies once the asda baby event starts again, but like emsbet said, I won't get too much as it could be a complete waste of money. I've always got on best with pampers, but I can't guarantee they'll be any good for this baby.

I had a look in the Matalan sale whilst we were shopping this morning. Yet again there were loads of lovely boy bits and nothing nice for girls :( Even in their full price section they had loads of boys outfits and yet only 3 pink blankets and one white and pink sleepsuit. I walked around several times because I thought I must've missed the baby girl section! Our local Next is really biased towards baby boys too, it's driving me mad.

Rups - if you find out the sex and your hubby doesn't want to know does that mean you won't buy any gender coloured bits for baby? After you've been so anxious/excited all along you must be desperate to buy some clothes or something. I would think it'd be so difficult to keep something like that secret!
