Am I the only one who didn't buy a changing bag? We got one free with our travel system and gave my mum the free boots one for when she had DD. I just couldn't justify the price when I only get SMP.
We didn't get one with our travel system, and I don't think the Boots one will be large enough for our reusable nappies! Plus I haven't had a new handbag for 18 months and mine is falling apart, so DH said he'd treat me to a new bag to use once Beanie is here. He's going to use the Boots one if he goes out without me etc.Little monkey born November 2012:jFroglet due March 20160 -
I need a new hand bag. Mine is wearing at the strap and although it wasn't cheap I've had it a while and the mother of a friend said "I like your bag. I have one like it that such-and-such gave me when they were done with it". I was a bit embarassed.0

You can listen to the relaxation section anytime the main section you start listening to 2-3 times a week from 32 weeks. They recommend you listen to it out loud sometimes too so your baby and partner can hear and understand xYou never know how strong you are until being strong is the only choice you have.

clarissa62 wrote: »Gillybean - yes VERY scared!! But trust me by the time you get to full term your ready for bubba to be out. By whatever means my lil man is coming this week. Am trying very hard not to think about it and take it one step at a time. I think its like anything in life if you worry about something its often the worry thats worse than the actual event. Saying that, ask me the same question after bubba has arrived and there is a good chance i'll have a completely different answer!!
I am full term, only 6 days till due date, and I'm very ready for her to be here, I think it's not knowing what will happen and how I will cope with the pain or if I can cope with the pain.0 -
Hmmm I most certainly still have a waist from behind and don't look pregnant from behind (I don't think). Will get hubby to take a photo tonight to confirm0

Hello all. been cathing up on the posts.:)
Hope you are all ok sweet ladies. Am yawning away here. Got 7 hours sleep with a wee break at 4. Lol
MissMonkeyMoo sorry to hear about you and OH. That was mean of him though. Sometimes DH does that and has only slept in the spare room once but he went there. I hated it as when we argue, I want to make up with him there and then but he takes ages to cool down. So annoying. L I hope you guys sort it out soon. Such an extra stress to deal with not speaking to each other. DH is so fiery. I wish I can send him on a course or something to calm down as if he feels I am attacking him for something, he just loses the plot. Grrr
Good luck clarissa and mrs excited. Hope you get to see your little ones soon. J Happy due date Jedi.
Dizsie, you are right about knowing the sex of the baby. At first I thought I would keep it a surprise when he was being very sweet to me and doing the house work, but when he annoyed me i saidto myself that I would find out. I am soooo confused on what to do. I am sure he will let me if I get as stubborn as him, but the thing I am worried about is slipping it out!!! Sigh.. that’s all.
Regarding giving birth. I think nearer the time, I will be scared but I thought I better deal with that nearer the time! Otherwise will start getting hyped up early on. J cant wait for scan now.. a week away!!!! To be honest knowing more about the sex or not knowing, I am more worried that all is well. J
Then I can start bugging DH to start buying stuff. He seems very chilled out and thinks we will get a few hand-me-downs, which is good but like isaid before his brother is still in the room and we need it carpeted and stuff. Don’t know when we will do that considering next week I will be 20 weeks! Sigh!Became Mrs H on the 1st of October 2011!!

Congrats to AMC. I'm sorry things didn't go as planned but I'm glad that Luke is here, safe and sound. Love the name, will need to add to my list
Linea negra - none here... where does it come from anyway?
Scared about giving birth - another one here! butlike emsbet, I'm scared of things going wrong, not the pain. I'm also scared about being a mum as I have not clue about anything, breastfeeding, changing nappies, etc
CL - New Look has one top that is suitable if you're near shops again. But online is normally your best bet. I only buy clothes if they're on sale (or from New Look as they're cheapanyway) and I can't remember which websites have got work shirts on sale. Next normally has a wide range of stuff on sale and you get free delivery to any store, Top Shop and Debenhams aren't too bad either. As for parking in Belfast, there was one in a shopping centre where they charge £4.50 all day, maybe castle court? Sorry can't remember which one. I'm not getting changing bag either, will just use the one from Boots...
Dizsie - hope you feel better soon!
MMM - sorry but I have to agree with dizsie, he should be the one sleeping on the sofa...
Clarissa - good luck for tomorrow! Will keep my fingers crossed for you
Savage - lucky you! I wish someone passed things on to me... not going to happen though as the only person who could is also pregnant with no2. At least I get so do more shopping:rotfl:
If mishka's theory is right, I'm having a boy, I look like I've eaten a volleyball (small bump;)).
I'm looking at the Boots baby event and I just can't see any 'great deals' to be grabbed... if anyone has spotted something worth it, can you give us a shout please? Thanks.
I'm studying all day today so not much fun again! Can't wait to finish it all though.:jBaby girl born 3rd October 2012:j0 -
