Ive just tried to take a pic of mine but even though I can see it, it hardly shows on the pic.

Last time mine stayed for about 6 months after I had dd, it just faded again. Not sure what it is

  • Is anyone else scared of giving birth, I've just cried all the way through one born. Just do not know how I'm going to get a baby out of my body

I'm scared of giving birth, but also scared of how our parents are going to react to the baby - both sets are really excited, but I'm worried about how much they are going to interfere in how he's brought up. MIL is already doing my head in with her comments about various things, and clearly sees me as a vessel for her grandchild. Every time I think about her now, I'm getting angry!
Enjoy the little things, for one day you may look back and realize they were the big things.

Ive carried the same with this pregnancy as I did with my 2 boys, the last pregnancy was a girl and although we didnt get all that far I carried differently,

I gain all my weight on my belly, my waist doesnt grow much sideways and from behind I dont look pregnant at all.

With our girl my waist thickened sideways straight away and I looked apple shaped !

I'm very fair skinned and have never had a linea negra, I have 2 girls and this one is a boy. My cravings were definitely different though - sweet things for the girls and savoury/salty this time, plus I felt much less sick this time.

But the main difference for me is the bump shape. With the girls I got thicker in the waist and carried sort of all around. This time my bump is all in the front, like a basketball shoved up my top, whilst I still have a waist and don't look remotely pregnant from the back.

    And congratulations AMC!!

Big congrats to AMC - love the name Luke. Sorry to hear you didn't get an epidural (i'm really hoping I can have one), bet your little boy is taking your mind off it all and getting lovely mummy cuddles.

I've had the line down my belly since 26 weeks and i'm really fair skinned, I've got a big bump out front but not put much weight on anywhere else - yet!

Most of the old wives tales say I'm having a boy but the sonographer was quite sure it's a girl, and as my best mate just bought round an ebay bundle of 4 bin liners full of 0-6 months of girls clothes I hope he's right! I've spent 2 hours going through all the cute outfits! :)

Oh, and I know I keep banging on about darn nappy bins but I picked up my latest Bounty pack last week and there is an offer for a 1/2 price Angelcare bin from Argos or Mothercare. It finishes on 31/07 so rushed to town to get one. Thought if I'm buying a normal bin it will be at least a fiver so thought the Angelcare one for £7.49 would be worth a go. Voucher here if anyone wants it http://angelcareuk.co.uk/argos
Bellola, thanks for the voucher. I never thought about buying a nappy bin/ Well, to be honest I had no idea they exist . Do they keep the smell in???

Rups so you're scan is on 6th, mine is on 8th at 8 in the morning. Yep we are going to find out the sex but I hope the will tell us that the gender is 100% sure :D.
