I went for a bikini wax the other week and it was horrendous. I'm still booked in for another before my DD tbf - hoping it can't possibly as painful as that time :rotfl:

Glad you enjoyed your day though. I'm not a fan of massages/facials, I don't find them relaxing at all. I went for a facial as part of my hen do and I just felt like someone was rubbing my face for far too long!

Ooooh it wasn't all that painful but I'm used a Brazillian and she would only do a high bikini.

I don't like facials - they tickle and I'm afraid I will come out in spots. I prefer massages.

Ladies... I'm panicked! I felt wriggling around my ribs, where I've never felt anything before, so I went to push to get a feel of the movement and I think I moved the baby! It's head is up by my right rib and I can see it moving! Is this normal? Should I be able to see it so well?

(I have to be honest, it's a bit freaky!).

Hey girls..hope your all ok. I'm trying to find some really nice baby bedding that's bright bright bright and just having no luck! Thought Ikea might do but they seem to only sell cot duvets which are not suitable when baby first arrives.

Also...have you all got Moses baskets?
Have you thought about cutting up sheets & hemming, or using pillow cases? I saw this suggested elsewhere on the site.
We're going to have a hand-me-down moses basket for baby that my Mum bought for my sisters two. But neither stayed in it for very long.

Sorry to double post, but when my oldest nephew was still inside my sister we used to poke his feet as we could see them so clearly poking out. Extremely freaky but I'm sure others will agree completely normal.

Search youtube for videos of baby movements. It's sooooo funny :D

Well I have had an amazingly productive day today. Trimmed by Bush, (was a whole green bins worth and also a car boot full. can't believe I let it grow that long!) ;) Washed and hung out 2 loads of washing and also painted a wall. Oh and also a little poly fillering :D Look at me go.

I actually did a video of mine squirming last week.. it looks like it is trying to escape.. I swear it was doing star jumps the other day. We play 'pokey' .. baby sticks out a limb.. I poke it so it moves it back in and pokes it out elsewhere.. occupies us both for hours.

Ok thank you for the ideas... I need to get the video camera out... This is what I've been experiencing today! http://youtu.be/LSbgBPTu85M

Pigpen - we play that game too except, I poke it, it moves, I shout "Simon Simon come feel", baby stops moving, I poke it, no response, OH gets bored and walks off, I poke it, baby moves, I shout "Simon Simon quick", baby stops moving .... And so on until OH gets bored.

He has felt it move before though - he is waiting for the obvious movement which is almost guaranteed, he's too impatient to sit waiting. Maybe the time has come - I've never felt or seen so much movement!

Massive congrats on the birth of Rosa, Dida x

Been in Menorca for a week, just got back. Had a great time but knackered. DS loved every minute, which was the main thing.

So very sad to read Betty's news :(

Sorry! I will put a warning next time ;)

They freak me out too... Worst thing I YouTube'd was "natural breech birth"... OMG.

    Although at least I'm prepared.
