Just popping on to say good luck with your induction tomorrow, snozberry.
Glad you liked the cake, DidaI hope it's as effective at bringing on labour as mine was!
We're doing OK here, completely smitten with little OliverEven his big brother thinks he's fab and wants to cuddle him all the time. Olly has a tongue tie which is making feeding tricky, so we're waiting on a referral to a specialist to get that snipped. The midwife assures me it's quick and painless, but I'm sure I'll feel like the world's worst mummy when it's done.

Don't look - it bothers the parents much more than it does LO... lots of babies actually sleep through the whole thingThey think that lots of undiagnosed tongue ties are 'corrected' later on by LOs teeth without them really noticing or caring so it can't be too traumatising for them. I hope you're getting lots of support with the feeding and they manage to get you an appointment soon :grouphug:

Oh heck, I've been for my MW appointment today, and the baby is head down and has started to engage. I'm only 34+3 and I have so much to sort out at work! While I'd hate to go over, I'd also really like to get a few more weeks worth of work sorted out... I don't know if it was my imagination, but walking around earlier on I thought I could feel the head descending slightly!!
(Having said that I'll probably still be here in another 7 weeks moaning about inductions...!)0 -
Goodluck today snoz, hope its not to long for you! Just keep in mind your about to meet your little boy, let us know how you get on, as and when you can!
Hope everyone else is ok today!
Oscar, baby was 2/5s engaged on my last appointment too and I'm a few days behind you, although is my third so they move up and down more apparently but I've had it with my other pregnancies too and they were both late, we can be here moaning together!:rotfl:

No - cake hasn't worked its magic so far (although OMG - you have all got to make BB's cake - everyone who has tried any thinks its absolute lush!). But thanks for asking!
I did have 2 cookies for breakfast in the hope that home baking would bring something on....!:(:( Getting a few twinges but I think its wind!:D Just sent the OH out to do some shopping - I am not risking Tescos on a busy Saturday morning!!!
Getting fed up now! My hips have never ached so much in my life! I am hoping that my unusually quiet baby this morning means like BB experienced the day before, its resting for labour!!!! Haha!

Oh! Had my fingers crossed for you. Don't blame you not going shopping, I need to but really can't be bothered, will be getting ingredients for cake! not for labour starting though!
Would be typical for things to kick off whilst your oh is out, did laugh at your wind, ah the joys of pregnancy! No one tells you about those bits!
